On February 16, NTA issued a notice for Tamil Nadu candidates who passed Class 10 in 2021. This year, the state did not conduct the Board exam owing to the pandemic situation and all candidates were passed by the state. Hence, such candidates are unable to fill the mandatory field of the Class 10 Board exam/qualifying exam marks. To ease their situation, it has been decided by NTA that during the filling up the CUET application form, when a candidate would select ‘Passing year’ as 2021 with ‘School Board’ as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Secondary), the ‘Result Mode’ field will be disabled and the associated fields for Marks / CGPA will be invisible for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who have passed their Class 10 in the year 2021.
NTA released a list of 24 CUET UG Help Centres wherein candidates can visit to seek assistance in filling and submitting the application form. Each centre will have a dedicated in charge for helping applicants. There is no additional cost involved in getting help from the CUET UG Help Centres.
