The university is good but needs to work on their academic syllabus.

Tips: Students should know that it is a misconception that the quality of education is better in countries abroad. The curriculum here doesn't add a lot of pressure with a bombardment of exams as most of the grades are covered by assignments. It's better if students get a scholarship and all the details are available on the university website. The public transportation is great, always on time and very accessible and affordable.

Good experience as there is availability for part time opportunities.

Tips: Students should know that there is a huge cultural difference coming from India to here. There are many ways in which you will be tempted, but how well you can stick to your beliefs and morals, as it helps a lot. You should be able to manage your expenses wisely and must be able to meet your daily needs.

University of Galway is one of the best place for a Master's degree.

Tips: The university is known to be in the top 1% but students should keep in mind, that they are on their own. Course content is really good but still some of the aspects they have to do by themselves. It has a good alumni network but it depends on how students are utilising it. I also strongly recommend joining different clubs to get involved in the activities and culture of the country.

Likes (Safety): Galway is one of the friendly counties in Ireland. Where people are really nice to you compared to other cities. T...

Everything starts with a dream and this experience feels like a dream come true.

Tips: Students should know that the academic structure is intense but it'll make you learn a lot so if you stay focused, you'll definitely reap the results for it. The faculty is lovely and approachable so you can contact them whenever you face a difficulty. Enjoy the life on campus as it is just too beautiful to miss out on.

Likes (Value for money): The services and the infrastructure provided by the university speak for itself. Moreover, the academic structure and the course design are brilliant. They focus on practical lear...

Excellent experience, great city and it is safe to explore the city even at midnight.

Tips: Students should know that the University student life is very good, I didn't get any scholarship for my studies but in my opinion, the fee structure is budget-friendly. It will be the best return on investment if you study at this university. Galway as a city is very safe, me and my friends walk around at 12 midnight, and we never felt a sense of danger.

Money oriented and Unsupportive Institution.

Tips: I have pursued my bachelor's from the same university. So it was easy for me to transition into the culture. Although I was an alumni, I asked multiple times for alumni scholarships but they rejected me. It doesn't make sense, I have spent crores of rupees with them and they can even offer some amount of scholarship. I am not at all satisfied with the university, course or country.

Likes (Student Life): I spend my days in college attending classes most of the time and sitting in the library to study. Multiple event...

It is a great learning experience.

Tips: Students should expect a cultural shift but not so much as a 'cultural shock'. Carry essential but not too much, especially clothing. The course and the mentors are very good and supportive. Should not expect to get part time immediately, it is competitive and may require references.

The weather will be a little difficult to adapt to.

Tips: The transition was not so tough, you can adapt Irish culture smoothly. Going back to student life and managing part-time jobs alongside teaches you a lot. Getting accustomed to Irish weather is of course a difficult part. Getting a scholarship is not easy. There are a couple of those available but the selection criteria is strict.

Overall experience with NUIG was the best!

Tips: Ireland is a small, sweet and nice country. The awesome part of NUIG are the events that they keep conducting each week. Not just fun events but multiple career events like how to tune your resume, job fairs and so on are organized. They are quite helpful. The only tough call that I see is getting accommodation is seriously tough. There is a serious struggle for this, so be prepared.

Likes (Student Life): Student life is really nice because people are welcoming here and the university keeps hosting a ton of events, f...

Galway is a safe city, people are helpful.

Tips: One should know about city life, food, accommodation, expenses, part time and full time work. City life is slow and accent here is strong. For food, there is limited option for vegetarians but it has good options for non-veg, especially seafood. Accommodation crisis is going on and expenses are high currently as euro is going down. Part time opportunities are much more then expected.

Likes (Safety): Galway is very safe city. You can just walk around even at night. Street lights are good. Galway city is small and...

Easy going and vastly based on practical experience.

Tips: It is a student-friendly college. Most of the population in the town is student hence it is very safe. The teaching faculty is very friendly and gets you basics in and out. If you don't know the basics in the course and you want to progress and have forgotten them brush it up and don't be afraid to ask questions.

It is worth the money and the European Union countries are also a job market .

Tips: I got a scholarship for 2000. The professors are really well-versed with what they're teaching. The study environment is really good as well. People are nice and helpful here. I like their teaching methodologies. It is not as stressful as it would be assumed to be.

Likes (Safety): Ireland is the 3rd safest country in the world. Galway is a very peaceful and joyous city. The people are nice and helpful. I was helped a lot of times by the locals in Galway. There is no racism whatever here. Locals are very warm an...
