PTE Exam Fees 2025
The Pearson PLC Group has recently increased the fees for all sorts of PTE exams for Indian students in 2025. The current fee in India for the PTE Academic exam, PTE Core Exam and the PTE Academic UKVI exam is ₹ 18,000 (inclusive of 18% tax) and that for the PTE Home exams (A1, A2, and B1) is ₹ 15,284 INR.
The base fee of the PTE Exam for PTE Academic in India is INR 15,254.00 and an additional 18% tax payable, INR 2,745.72 bringing the total PTE test price to INR 17,999.72.

Note: There is no late fee for the PTE Academic exam even if you book the exam 24 hours before the test date.

PTE Registration Fee 2025
Test takers should note that PTE exam fees, PTE test fees, and PTE fees all refer to the standard PTE Academic exam fee or PTE registration fee of ₹ 18,000 (inclusive of 18% tax) in India. In case the candidate is booking his PTE exam within 48 hours of the PTE test date, the candidate would be required to pay the PTE Late Booking Fee.

Cancelling or rescheduling the PTE Academic exam can be done on the PTE official website. Candidates can reschedule the PTE exam 2025 to any other date via phone or online. PTE Exam Cancellation Fees
Candidates who decide not to pursue their PTE Academic test after booking their exam online have up to 14 calendar days before their test date to claim a full refund. Candidates who cancel the test, with less than 14 calendar days, but at least seven calendar days before their test date, will receive a partial refund of 50% of the PTE test fee paid. However, no refunds would be provided to candidates for cancelling the exam less than seven calendar days before. PTE Rescheduling Fees
Candidates who plan to reschedule the test, with less than 14 calendar days, but at least seven full calendar days before their test date, will be required to pay 50% of the PTE test fee. No refunds will be provided for rescheduling the exam less than seven calendar days before. Candidates should note that the rescheduled policy does not include their PTE test date.
How to Send PTE Score Report?
Candidates who wish to send PTE scores can do so via an online secure portal set up by PTE. Universities do not accept paper or PDF versions of PTE Academic score reports. PTE Test takers should note that the facility of sending PTE scores to universities is free and comes with no added PTE costs. However, candidates would have to follow the steps mentioned below.

- Click 'View Score Reports'
- Click 'Send Scores'
- Type the name of your chosen institution and select your institution

Candidates who are looking to appear for a second PTE Academic test would be required to register for the PTE test again and also pay the required PTE exam fees. Hence, candidates are always advised to book their PTE exam slot only after having prepared for the PTE Academic test.
Often candidates are left wondering about the validity of their PTE scores. They should know that their PTE scores are valid for two years from the date of the exam. Once the two years are over, the expired PTE scores would be automatically removed from the test taker's account.

Often, candidates are unable to get their desired PTE scores and look to re-appear for the PTE test again. The PTE exam fees and the IELTS exam fees for Indian students are just the same, i.e. INR 18,000. The fees for both these exams have increased by equal amounts, i.e. INR 1000 in the year 2025.
