Scholarship Overview

Teesside University offers the Alumni Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of Teesside University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Alumni Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like MSc IT Project Management,MA Computer Animation and Visual Effects,MSc Computing,MSc Computer Security and Networks. If we consider the amount of the Alumni Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as IELTS and PTE. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: LOR and CV.

Eligibility

Applicants:

  • must fulfil the any of the following academic requirements for Computing programmes:
    • Minimum of 60% or CGPA 6.2/10 from a recognised Indian university
    • 55% or CGPA 5.8/10 minimum from the following universities: Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Anna, Jadavpur or Kolkata University
  • must fulfil the any of the English Language requirements:
    • IELTS required for postgraduate (taught) programmes in Art and Design, Business (except MBA and HRM), Computing, Sport, Engineering, Science, TV Production, Journalism, Multimedia Public Relations, Mass Communications- 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each band 
    • PTE Academic- 59
  • must apply directly to the University and shouldn't use an agent to be eligible for this bonus
