Scholarship Overview

Teesside University offers the Teesside University Global Excellence Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of Teesside University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Teesside University Global Excellence Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity and Networks,BSc (Hons) Chemistry,BA (Hons) Computer Animation,FdSc Computing (Networking),BA (Hons) Computer Games Design,BA (Hons) Visual Effects,BA (Hons) Marketing,BSc (Hons) Computing,BSc (Hons) Food and Nutrition,BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering,BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering,BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering. If we consider the amount of the Teesside University Global Excellence Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as IELTS and PTE. Students will require the following documentation to apply for the scholarship: LOR.

  • The Scholarship value is £2,000 in your first full academic year of study (all successful applicants on a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme) and £1,000 for each subsequent year of study for full-time undergraduate students only.

Eligibility

  • Applicants:must fulfil the any of the following academic requirements:
    • India Standard XII – 65% minimum from all state boards.
    • Diploma from the State Board of Technical Education with 60% minimum (including MEng) Holders of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 28 points or more will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor degree courses
  • must also fulfil any of the following English language requirements:
    • IELTS required for Fine Art, Design, Media Production, Engineering, Science, Computing, Media Studies, Journalism programmes - 5.5 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each band
    • PTE Academic- 59

Additional Information

  • ELP requirement will be waived if applicants have 70%+ marks in English from CBSE in 12th
