Tips: It's essential to be aware of the academic rigour and expectations of the chosen programme. Initially, there will be a lot of facilities to make your transition smooth in Edinburgh. There are several scholarships that can be availed, departments of Mathematics has scholarship for their programs that are towards your tuition fees. As for the country, Scotland is a beautiful place to live in with a lot of cultural heritage.

Tips: Get to know as much as you can about the course, don't get swayed by the ranking system. The staff is lovely and there's a big support team for all kinds of concerns. I have heard about incidents of racism/racial sensitivity but haven't experienced it myself in the university, as I live outside.

Tips: It is very different from Indian education system. I didn't experience any cultural shift as I studied during covid time. Also, I didn't avail any internships. Tips: Be flexible. You'll get fantastic international exposure and will develop the invaluable skill of cross cultural communication. The professors are some of the best around the globe. Focus on being innovative in your assignments. Always do weekly readings.
