Adjusting to life and study in the UK.

Tips: Moving to a new country, one definitely experiences a culture shock. One major culture shock that Indian students might experience is being polite to strangers. Using phrases like Thank you, Have a nice day, etc., and being considerate towards others are part of everyday interactions. One also needs to adjust to the climatic condition. It's also important to socialise and make new friends for a healthy mental life. Many universities offer a number of scholarships to students, hence, it's better ...

University of Sussex has great student life and the university hosts many fun events.

Tips: Students should not convert things to INR and then purchase them. Your necessities are important, so go according to that. Build connections and get jobs as it's easier that way. Scholarships are hard to get, but you need to have a good genuine reason for it. You need vitamins during the winter because of the early sunset. Try not to fall sick. Doctor appointments are not easy. Finally, other cultural changes can be learned as you experience them. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experience...

Not worth the money. The faculty doesn't teach much.

Tips: I got a scholarship of around 3000. The job market is tough, and if you have experience, that would be a plus point. In my situation, I don't have experience, so I have a lot of struggles. It is not worth it to spend 18 lakhs, and the faculty doesn't teach much. They just get the PowerPoint presentation and display it, and they read the presentation from the screen. But there are many resources on campus where I spend a lot of time reading. I am not satisfied with this university.

Likes (Student Life): Student life is...

Great college not so great placement prospects.

Tips: The university is great and supportive. The education is outstanding. The people are amazing. But the country is not great. The weather is terrible and everything is very expensive. Only if this college was in some other country it would have been 100/100 recommend

Likes (Quality of faculty): The teachers are super friendly. They are industry professionals with insane amounts of knowledge and insights. They make extra efforts to deliver the best quality of education. They take feedback very seriously, make sure to improve ...
