Course framework is relevant. A lot to learn.
Tips: Not as such a big transition is required because you would find more of similar people from similar background. Also university is very diverse and always welcoming from various backgrounds. I did not get any scholarships. I am fully satisfied as my course is really well organized and very relevant to the real-time industry requirements.

It's a good college to study
Tips: Know about the current job market before joining the college. The courses are very good, but internships and full time are hard to find currently. Work before you opt for MS, as work experience matters more in the job hunt and understanding the courses.

Time management is significant.
Tips: There is going to be a big shift depending on where you are from. You have to be punctual and take care of time very seriously. Courses are not very easy and they will challenge you if you haven't learned about it earlier. The learning curve will be steep but it will be rewarding. Be prepared to work hard. Courses are great. You find the value in your coursework. You will meet a lot of smart and experienced people. So learn from them. Bus transportation is free here so you don't pay anything for the transportation but the downside of this is that you are reliant on buses and you have to be punctual. Food options on the Centennial campus are not great. So if you want to have good food, go on Hilsborough Street.
