All B.E./B.Tech candidates must have finished their 10+2 education taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as required subjects before GTBIT will consider their applications. To enroll candidates must take part in the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi process which selects students using their JEE Main test results. GGSIPU sets additional selection requirements for candidates to follow during the standardized admission procedures for everyone seeking admission.

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process is used by SKR Engineering College in Chennai to admit students to its B.E./B.Tech programs.  A minimum of 45% in 10+2 Physics, Chemistry, and Math is required for eligibility.  Marks from the qualifying exam are taken into consideration during the merit-based selection process.

In order to be eligible for admission into B.E./B.Tech courses offered by Cape Institute of Technology (CIT), students should have completed their 10+2 course with PCM as the core subjects. The admission is mostly done through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process, which takes the candidate's 10+2 marks into consideration for allotment of seats.
