The B.E. / B.Tech course at SR Engineering College admits students who scored minimum grades in their 12th-grade Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics studies along with successful completion of this academic level. Students qualify for admission through examination results of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or TS EAMCET before participating in counseling for rank-based seat allocation.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at AVS Engineering College, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics as a compulsory subject from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TNEA counseling and secure valid marks to be eligible for the course. Direct admission may also be possible for admission under the management quota and lateral entry admission.
