BCA stands for Bachelor of computer applications. The aspirant should have passed 10+2 from any stream with English as passing subject with minimum 45%-55% marks in aggregate (The pass percentage might vary from college to college). A student with an arts or commerce background too can apply but the primary requirement is to have PCM group in 12th with a minimum of 50%.
It has a good scope in the computer field. After obtaining a BCA degree, students can find lucrative job opportunities in leading IT companies like Oracle, IBM, Infosys, and Wipro. Some of the roles that one can bag after completing a BCA programme is that

Nalanda Open University is an open university and they provide distance education degree! If I want to do BCA from distance then NOU is your choice and if you want to do regular BCA then go for MU!

Yes, you can. Many of the institutions provide BCA with a minium eligibility of 45%.
