To be eligible for the B.E./B.Tech programme at Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and Science (SVITS, Mahabubnagar), you need to meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: You must have passed your 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Entrance Exam: You need to qualify for the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Government of Telangana.

Merit-Based Admission: Admission is based on your rank in the EAMCET and your marks in the 10+2 examination

Academic credentials and entrance exam results are the main determinants of admission to Alpha College of Engineering's B.E. and B.Tech programs. Candidates must have finished Class 12 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points in math, physics and chemistry (45% for restrcted categories). The main methods of admission are national examinations like JEE Mains or state-level entrance exams like TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions).

Based on their academic merit and performance on these tests applicants are shortlisted. There are also management quota seats available however students must fulfill the prerequisites.
