Educational Qualification :
 Candidates, with a minimum of 50% marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Maths at +2 level (45% for reserved categories) or its equivalent examination, need to pass Higher Secondary Examination (10 +2).
Admission is primarily based on counseling conducted by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions based on marks obtained in the 10+2 examination. Alternatively, candidates who have appeared for JEE Main may also be considered.
Age Limit: Typically, students will be between 17 and 25 years of age when admitted.

The selection Criteria for Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, College of Engineering and Technology for B.E. / B.Tech course are as follows :

• Eligibility: Individuals must have to pass 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along woth one of the following subjects as additional sucha s Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology etc.

The candidates must appear in JEE Main or UKSEE examination.
