The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at ITM University, Gwalior, include the following:
- Applicants must have cleared 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects
- The selection of candidates is based on the ITM NEST entrance exam conducted by the University
- Candidates need to have passed 10+2 in PCM/PCB with a minimum of 50% marks
The university also considers the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination and entrance exams for selection

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with English as one of the languages and obtained 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology are eligible to apply for the NMIT Bangalore BTech programme.

Candidates who have a valid score in the JEE Advanced and JEE Main exams are eligible for both the BTech and BTech+Mtech degree at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Further, candidates are required to qualify for the eligibility criteria, i.e twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate from a recognised institution (The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD candidates should be at least 65%). Qualified candidates must complete the IIST admission procedure and finalised their seats.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at KCG College of Technology include the following:
- For candidates belonging to the General Category: A pass with a minimum average of 45% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together.
- For Backward Class Including Backward Class Muslim, MBC & DNC, SC, SCA, and ST categories: A pass with a minimum average of 40% in the same subjects
