The selection to BTech course is based on JEE Main or NIMSEE score. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to avoid rejection at the later stages of admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. Class 12 in the Science stream is the basic eligibility for BTech at GITAM Institute of Technology, Visakhapatnam. Further, the candidates need to qualify GAT for securing admission to the BTech course at the institute.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate can apply for the BTech course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.

Integral University offers a four-year course of BTech across nine specialisations. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must pass Class 12 with 45% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, English/ Mathematics from a recognised board. Students are selected based on their scores in the university's in-house entrance exam or any other national-level entrance exam, which is conducted for admission to Engineering courses.

To be eligible for the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal’s BTech programme, a candidate needs to have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the optional subjects. IIIT Bhopal admission is primarily entrance-based. The candidates are selected through national-level examinations conducted by different authorities.
