Candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme at IIIT Kottayam must fulfil the following requirements:
- The candidate must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
- Also, candidates must have a valid rank in the JEE-Main exam based on which they can apply for the counselling process through JoSAA.
- Selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell for document verification and fee payment.

Apeejay Stya University offers BTech course for aduration of four years. Unlike other Universities JEE is not required for the admission to Apeejay Stya University. The candidates have to fullfill certain eligibilty criteria like 12 years of school education with minimum 50% aggregrate atleast Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Bio-Technology as an optimal subject. And for the selection process candidates have to appear for the CUET exam and personal interview.

A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech course. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with PCM/ PCB with at least 60% aggregate can apply for BTech in Biotechnology. Candidates must pass Class 10 & Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and PCM with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BTech CSE International. Aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to BTech course. Those passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course. Additionally, Amity Lucknow accepts JEE Main or CUET UG

A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with at least 65% aggregate is required to apply for SNU BTech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification in later stages of admission. Besides, eligibility, aspirants must also meet the selection criteria. Aspirants must qualify JEE Main, CUET, SAT or ACT to get admission to BTech course. Candidates can also appear for SNUSAT conducted by the university for BTech course.

It is necessary that each aspirant fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Thus, the aspirants who have completed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science are eligible to apply for a BTech course in HBTU. Moreover, for BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST).
