Business Management Studies

This study programme offers a unique combination of general and business education, and is an excellent means of developing the intellectual and managerial skills of a student. The 3-year degree programme provides fundamental education in business and management principles, all the while developing the student's practical skills, managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capabilities. The BBA course curriculum consists of different types of courses:-
1. Foundation Courses: These provide the students with fundamental understanding of subjects like Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, and Economics etc.
2. Core Courses: Core courses build a strong background in business fundamentals, comprising subjects like Marketing, Human Resource, International Business, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Laws etc.
3. Elective Courses: Elective courses help students in extending their knowledge in specific areas like Financial Services, Consumer Behavior, Brand Management, Corporate tax Planning etc.
4. Value added Courses: These courses assist students in enhancing their creativity, reasoning, decision making and communication skills. These include subjects like Analytical Decision Making, Communication Skills, and Behavioral Science etc.
5. Language Courses: The Language courses give a competitive edge to students by allowing them to learn chosen foreign languages, like French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese etc.
6. Choice Based Credit Courses: Subjects from other disciplines, like Fashion designing, Audio Visual communication, Artificial Intelligence etc. Are made available to the students aiming at exploring their interests beyond the mainstream subjects.
7. Summer Internship: An internship during the course provides the students a first-hand experience of working in the real corporate world.
