Yes, IFMR accepts CAT scores for admission to MBA course. Candidates seeking for admission to MBA can qualify for CAT exam with minimum 75 percentile and submit their scores at the time of filling the application form. Apart from this, the institute also accepts scores of other national level entrance exam such as XAT, NMAT, CMAT, GRE and GMAT. Candidates can qualify for any one of the respective entrance exam in order to get the admission.

Both the Fortune Institute of International Business and NIILM are good institutes on their own but if you are searching institute for an MBA purpose then FIIB must be a good option the placement percentage of the FIIB  is also high, infrastructure of the college was good as compared to the other MBA college. So yes, you can opt FIIB for MBA purpose.

IFMR Chennai admission has been closed for MBA course. The admission process is conducted in four rounds. The institute releases complete schedule of the admission process for all four rounds on its official website. The application window usually opens in Oct.  The admission process generally wraps up in the month of June. The classes are likely to begin in the first week of July. Candidates can visit the official website to get the latest dates around all-four rounds for the following events:

  1. Application End Date
  2. Interview Registation Date
  3. Interview Date

No, there is no negative marking in BUMAT for any wrong or not attempted questions. Candidates can attempt questions as per their choice and attempt maximum number of question wihout the fear of negative marking. As per the BUMAT exam marking scheme, for every correct answer candidate will get one mark. The BUMAT question paper will be of maximum 200 questions. Candidates will have no sectiibal time limit to attempt questions. Candidates can switch from one section to another as per their choice and comfort. The BUMAT exam will be conducted for a duration of 150 minutes. Candidates must ensure to complete the exam within the given time

As per the placement report 2023, the IFMR average package offered during the 2023 placements drive stood INR 13.50 LPA. Earlier in 2022, the average package offered stood at INR 11.21 LPA. Thus, a rise of 16% in the average package was observed in 2023 when compared with 2022. Going back to 2021 placements, the average package offered stood at INR 10 LPA.
