There are many career opportunities for BA Economics graduates. First of all BA Economics graduates are eligible for all government jobs in central and state government where eligibility criteria is graduation degree. You can evaluate Civil Services, PSC in state, SSC etc. Indian Economic Services is one of the coveted jobs for Economics graduate. Reserve Bank of India also hires Economics graduates. 1. You can appear for Indian Economic Service.
2. You can pursue Masters degree and go for Ph.D, if interested in academic profession.
3. You can go for MBA/ PGDM in finance, if you want to pursue a career in management from top B-school.

Hi Shelly, DU is one of the most recognized universities and there is no question of recognition by foreign universities. Three year degree program is also accepted by NYU. However for MBA you cannot apply directly after your BA. You must gain some work experience of 2 years minimum. You must also take the GMAT.
