Dear,
You should go for economic (Hons) programme but for that, you need to check the eligibility and admission process in different universities because this is a premium programme and every university having own percentage cut-off in the eligibility.
A minimum of 60% in math or economics is required in most of the universities and some good universities required more than that.
All the best.

Hi Chancha,
Economics is a very essential subject in case if you are from commerce and arts and humanities stream. You won't be able to seek admission in any of the colleges to pursue a course until you clear your compartment exam. Go ahead and face the exam. Give your best shot and come up with flying colors.
All the best.

The difference between economics and business economics is that economics deals with the whole economy including business, state, country and the world, and all aspects of economy i.e. Micro and Macroeconomics. On the other side, business economics deals with particular business or industry. It doesn't consider state or country or other industry which are not related to its business.

Hi Shailja,
Though you can apply before you clear your compartment, but admissions are also on merit basis so chances are tricky with compartments if your overall percentage is not high.
