Placements : About 90 percent of students will get a PG seat remaining 10 percent will opt for other ways like UPSC exams, MRB, etc. You can even start your own clinic. Minimum package of MBBS graduates will be 3 Lacs per annum while maximum can be 2 crores per annum. Top recruiting companies are various famous private hospital like Apollo hospital, SRM medical institute, etc. Top UG seat is MBBS and most opted out PG seat is MD Radio diagnosis. Only verbal ragging is possible. So answer of this question is that ragging is not much prevalent in medical colleges now but it is prevalent in post graduation medical courses but at that time you would not be same person who you were in 1st year MBBS. Ragging is now only means of communication with senior student.

No, it is not bad to study MBBS in private colleges. Private college fee structure is very high that's why students prefer government college.

AIIMS stands for All India Institute for Medical Sciences, whereas NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. AIIMS exam is online based but NEET exam is offline held. AIIMS exam has 200 MCQs to be completed in 3.5 hrs, but NEET has 180 MCQs to be completed in 3hrs.

I think that Allen study material isn't sufficient for AIIMS. For cracking AIIMS exam topper practice a lots of questions besides Allen study material. Alaway remember that your ncert is your godfather book and ncert physics chemistry and biology should be at your fingertips as questions are directly from it.
