The specific heat is the amount of heat per unit mass required to raise the temperature by one degree Celsius. The relationship between heat and temperature change is usually expressed in the form shown below where C is the specific heat. The relationship does not apply, if a phase change is encountered, because the heat added or removed during a phase change does not change the temperature.

If you want to pursue M.Sc after completing B.Sc then you have many options available like - you can pursue M.Sc. from IIT or IISC.
If you want to prepare for IIT JAM then you can visit the below mentioned link:

For that you have to write IIT JAM test. After qualifying JAM, you will be eligible for:
1. M.Sc
2. Joint M.Sc and Ph.D.
3. M.Sc and Ph.D dual degree.
4. M.Sc or M.Tech.
5. Integrated Ph.D courses at IISC.

If you are passionate about science and love the core value of physics then go for M.Sc and if you want to enrich your knowledge in business field then go for MBA.

Go with S. Chand's physics theory and numerical's books. IIT Rao Academy and Khan Academy videos are very good and easily accessible from YouTube. At last, the most important thing is “self-study ".
