For a career in counseling, after 10+2 one can do their graduation in subjects like psychology, social work etc. And can go for post graduation in counseling, Life skill education or psychology from an accredited educational institution. Candidates who have Masters degree in any area are eligible to apply for Diploma Course in Counseling, but some institutes prefer students with psychology background. The duration of the course varies from 1- 2 years. Those having a graduation in Psychology can opt for PG Diploma Courses. You can pursue but you have to find cut-off as Delhi has a high cut-off in Psychology Hons. But if you want to do core, then go for Psychology Hons. but in a different university.

Yes, you can pursue but you need to work harder. Psychology is a vast subject which requires lot of practical knowledge. You should also read graduation level psychology as it will be helpful in your M.A.

Hi,
Yes, you can go for M.A. (Psychology) after your biotechnology. Eligibility for M.A. (Psychology) in most of the top universities is pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree. (It may vary with the University you choose)

With Science in 12th, you have multiple career options but the wise decision will be to chose the one in which you are most interested. If you feel that you have passion for Psychology and want to become a registered Psychologist then you should opt for B.Sc/ B.A. Psychology. Hope this helps. You can pursue MA Psychology from IGNOU. It's a distance learning program. Eligibility is graduation (any stream) from a recognized University. Program duration : Minimum 2years. and maximum 5 years. Program fees 13000/-
Admission intake - twice a year. (January and June).
