It's not that difficult if you are meeting the eligibility criteria of the college where you wish to apply. There are many parameters on which the best college is decided. I can name a few colleges. They are: Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi), Indraprastha College for Women (Delhi), Daulat Ram College for Women (Delhi), Jesus & Mary College for Women (Delhi), St. Xavier's College (Mumbai), Jai Hind College (Mumbai), Mithibai College (Mumbai), Fergusson College (Pune) & Women's Christian College (Chennai). These colleges are known for their excellence, besides these being ranked high.

You have a Bachelor's degree which teaches the fundamentals of psychology. After that, you will need a Master's degree which can qualify you to practice in the field as a case manager, employment specialist, or social worker. To become a full-fledged psychologist is to get licensed. It is a law that psychologists can only legally practice if they possess a license.

Mostly admission to this programme is based on the percentage of 10+2. However, some institutes in the country offer the course based on the candidates performance in a relevant institute-specific entrance test. So you need to decide on the college in which you wish to apply and check there eligibility.

The eligibility may vary from one institute to the other. Some of them require a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, while others require a Bachelors Degree in any stream. Decide on the college and check the eligibility before applying.
