The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing MA (psychology) degree is having graduation degree in any stream. However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honours in psychology or psychology as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognised university/college of the country for admission to MA (psychology) degree course. Some of the very reputed universities and institutes demand a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct entrance examination to get admission to their MA (psychology) degree course. You could go for a Master's degree if colleges take students from different fields. Also, there are private courses which are available that will make you eligible for the counselling.

Both are different streams. Fashion designing and Masters in psychology fashion designing has a graduation degree also and Master's degree also and Masters in psychology is different stream, so it is upto you, which you want to choose, as both has great scope in their respective fields.
