Hello Parakshi,
For doing B.Tech in Rajasthan, it all depends which college you are joining. UPES is a nice college, it has a very good record of placement and its infrastructure is also quite good and having good facilities. In Rajasthan also, there are good colleges, but all the colleges are not good. So it all depends which college you are joining. UPES has 18 specializations in Computer Science and in India there are very less colleges which provides specialization. So you can join UPES also. It is a nice college.

Yes, job opportunities are equivalent in all the categories.
After all, it totally depends on the person and the interview given by him. UPES, on its part, provides the required platforms and job offers from many companies regarding your suitable stream.
If you can clear the subject with satisfying marks then you don't have to worry about the placement. Distance learning, however, is not a choice of many. But if you can study and score with that, then it's not a bad choice too.
So, all the best!

Hello there, see its all depends on your interest but as you have said that you like all the three branches then let me tell you about the branches. If we talk about mechanical branch, it is not a bad option, it is a evergreen branch because it runs on the machines and machines will never stop. So it is a secure branch. Now lets come to Aerospace branch, it is a nice branch. This branch has its future in India and abroad also, only few colleges provide education for this branch. Now come to Computer Science branch, it is the branch which is in trend right now. It is at the boom at this scenario and it is the branch which has a vast sco

I will prefer CS branch. Because you also know that the scope of CS is very wide. And CS is on the top of all branches. But you should go with your interest.

It depends upon the course. I am doing B.Tech in CS so my fee is around 12-13 LPA (excluding hostel fee).
As for the hostels, there are three different kinds of rooms. So the basic charge of a room is 1.3 - 1.4 LPA. If you want a room with attached bathroom, then there will be different charges (around 1.5 LPA ).

It's up to you that how much capacity you are. Placements are good. If we do not talk about mass recruitment then placements are very good. Even in mass recruitment, you can get package more than 4 LPA. Top recruiters in UPES are IBM, L&T, Microsoft, VMware, Dell, etc. So, at last, it up to you.

It's not a very good rank. So, I guess you will get aerospace or civil engineering (not sure ).

I don't think there is any other way to get admission in UPES without applying for it. You have to apply for it.

On basis of UPSEAT exam, you will get admission if you have a rank around 10K or maybe more. But you will not get a good branch with this rank. So, for getting a good branch, you have to secure a good rank. I don't have the idea of JEE Mains rank cut-off for UPES.
