Hi,
If you have missed UPESMET then there is only one way to get admission in UPES which is the non-exam pathway.
In this process, you have to qualify for the minimum marks set by the university for various National level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT etc. If you are having the required score in these National level entrance tests then you'll be given admission in UPES.

It purely depends on what specialisation you are interested in and what are your parameters for evaluating a place of study. You would consider following facts before entering a college:
A) Faculty
B) Infrastructure
C) Placements
D) Practical exposure
E) Credibility
Nirma and UPES both qualify all these parameters. Now, the only differentiate here would be the specialisation that both these colleges offer. If you have appeared for UPES-EAT and have been invited for Counselling then you must attend the counselling to know in details about each of the specializations offered here as there would be very limited information available through

Its better to do CSE in UPES because there are good placements in UPES in comparison to SRM. And a huge possibility of a government. Job.

Hi Avijeet,
Your question is incomplete, as you haven't mentioned about the stream of engineering for the placement comparison. It is quite an important factor as the Institute's placement varies according them. However, if BE in Computer Science & Engineering is considered, the comparison can be like
BITS>Manipal University>VIT>UPES>SRM>KIIT.
