UPES placements 2015 started with a bang this year, with setting a new record of 1100 plus students getting offers across the three colleges that is College of Engineering, College of Management & College of Law, by many reputed national & international companies.
The reputed brands which rolled out offers were Schlumberger ,Dell, Accenture, Cairn India, FedEx, Flipkart, Infosys, IBM, ITC, L&T Group, Maruti Suzuki, Nestle, Reliance Industries, GVK (Mumbai International Airport), CAPA,TCS, Wipro, Zensar, Halliburton, Mahindra Aerospace, PWC to name a few.
With a legacy of achieving more than 85% placements every year many companies visited Dehradun Campus to recruit .
The office of career services works closely with the industry to develop and support collaborative industry academia interface and facilitates placements and summer internship of all students. The team consists of dedicated & experienced professionals from different sectors of the industry who are based at our Dehradun Campus & Delhi Corporate office, with a regional presence in Mumbai, Ahmedabad & Kolkata.
Under the guidance of the Career Services department and the senior faculty members, the student Placement committees also play a vital role in making the placements a roaring success.

It purely depends on what specialisation you are interested in and what are your parameters for evaluating a place of study. You would consider following facts before entering a college:
A) Faculty
B) Infrastructure
C) Placements
D) Practical exposure
E) Credibility
Nirma and UPES both qualify all these parameters. Now, the only differentiate here would be the specialisation that both these colleges offer. If you have appeared for UPES-EAT and have been invited for Counselling then you must attend the counselling to know in details about each of the specializations offered here as there would be very limited information available through word of mouth on these topics.
