Hi Hasnain, There is no specific cut-off list generated by the university, the branch-wise cut-off in UPES totally depends on the no. of applicants shortlisted for the counselling.
There are approx 60-70 seats per branch available in the university which are filled on the basis of UPESEAT merit list and from the percentage of marks received in 10+2 examination.

Hi Sahil,
You haven't clarified what course you're looking for, but still if you want a comparison between DCRUST & UPES, then I would say that UPES is a far better university for engineering.
Be it B. Tech, M.Tech, MSc, BSc they have great faculty and provide amazing industry placement to the students.
So if you're looking forward on choosing any one of them, you should choose UPES as your first choice.

Hi Prakhar, UPES is no doubt the better choice than XIME.
XIME was established in 2008 whereas UPES was established in 2003 also in terms of course structure, facilities, placements and faculty I think UPES is way ahead than any other private universities in India.
If you wish to apply in MBA, you should do it sooner as 8th July is the last date for admissions.

Last date to apply for MBA is July 8th 2017.

The criteria for admission is as follows:-
1. Non examination pathway: CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT by GMAC/GMAT followed by group discussion and personal interview.
MAT / CMAT score of minimum 75 percentile
CAT/ XAT score of minimum 70 percentile
NMAT score of minimum 140
2. Examination pathway apply for UPES management entrance test 2017
Candidates whose CAT/ XAT/ MAT/CMAT scores do not meet our criteria, but they still have minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and in graduation,

UPES has been established from a long time and is creating successful business enthusiasts to are well prepared to tame the industry with their skills. UPES has collaborations with many industries and organizations which creates a very positive impact on students career. Also UPES has many business societies which are extremely valuable for students and help them evolve as an individual.
MBA students also receive great placements. Accenture, IBM, Dell R&D, Nestle, L&T Infotech, Maruti, Philips Carbon Black, Reliance Industries, Tata Technologies, GATI KWE etc. are a few prominent recruiters.

The syllabus for UPES-EAT 2017 is not complex at all, it includes the syllabus covered in class 12th and 11th, you can prepare for all your major subjects, especially, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The syllabus is same as any other entrance exam.
