What is UP B.Ed JEE?

UP B.Ed JEE is a state-level entrance exam conducted for providing admission to eligible candidates in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course offered at various colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Every year, the Government of Uttar Pradesh gives the responsibility of conducting the UP B.Ed JEE exam to different universities. In 2019, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, conducted the joint B.Ed entrance exam. However, in 2021, the exam will be conducted by Lucknow University.

UP B.Ed JEE Eligibility 2021

The parameters that candidates need to fulfill in order to meet the UP B.Ed JEE eligibility criteria are:

• Candidates belonging to General and Other Backward Class (OBC) should clear graduation or post-graduation from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) category should clear graduation or post-graduation from a recognised university. However, there is no criteria for minimum marks
• Candidates with a BE/BTech degree having Maths and Science as main subjects should secure at least 55 per cent aggregate marks

UP B.Ed JEE Admission Process 2021

The UP B.Ed JEE admission process 2021 includes the following steps:

Step 1: Fill UP B.Ed JEE application form

Firstly, candidates need to fill UP B.Ed JEE application form in online mode on the official website of the exam. The UP B.Ed application fee is Rs 1,500 for General and OBC category and Rs 750 for SC/ST category.

Step 2: Download UP B.Ed JEE admit card

Candidates can download their UP B.Ed JEE admit card 2021 from the official website of the exam as per the prescribed schedule. To download the admit card, candidates need to login to their registered accounts using user ID and password.

Step 3: Appear for UP B.Ed JEE exam

Next, candidates need to appear for UP B.Ed JEE 2021 exam as per the details mentioned on the admit card. The UP B.Ed JEE paper contains multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 300 marks that candidates need to complete in a duration of three hours.

Step 4: Check UP B.Ed JEE result

The UP B.Ed JEE result is released on the official website of the exam as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates can check their UP B.Ed JEE result 2021 by logging into their registered accounts.

Step 5: Appear for UP B.Ed JEE counselling

Lastly, all qualifying candidates need to appear for UP B.Ed JEE counselling as per the prescribed schedule. In the counselling round, candidates are allotted seats in different colleges based on their ranks and the number of available seats.
