Placements: Around 40 companies come for core placements in the mechanical department offering between 8-15 lakhs. Many international stations offers above 25 Lacs too but only 5-10 students get those. Average in core is Rs 7-8 LPA and median is Rs 6.9 LPA in core, specifically. The highest package was about 44 Lacs, the lowest 4 Lacs, and average around 17-20 Lacs Microsoft, Goldman Sachs are the top recruiters. About 70 percent of students got the internship. Placements: For ME, the placement scenario can be improved. On-campus placements are less than expected, but our seniors got placed in good companies. A majority of the students also opt for research-based studies, later on, and faculty members are also more focused on research progress, which is good if you plan to pursue a PhD later on. You can also put a practice school according to your choice in the final semester, and you can also invite new companies with your own effort.
