It was a good college with nice faculty members and the best infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were not that great but average. About 40% of students were eligible for placements from here, and companies like Acer, Dell, and other electronics manufacturers visited. Some electric car component companies also started coming to our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel was fantastic as we had 8 boys’ hostels within the campus. There was one girls’ hostel, but since the girls’ ratio was low, there was only one. Our campus was also very good, as it was big and full of facilities that could be deemed top-class. They held a sports event that was very fun, with many students participating, along with many other events. This college offered extracurricular activities as well, which were also fun to do. They had TVs in every classroom to help students understand better by showing and teaching through them.
Faculty: Faculty-to-student ratio was 2:5. Faculty-student relationship was very healthy, and every teacher was very supportive, trying to make everything easier for students to understand and achieve good results. Teachers in my course were really helpful. They helped with everything and understood every issue or problem for students. Exams were very easy, and very few students failed to clear them. Otherwise, it was very easy. Anybody could clear the exams without even studying, just by having normal knowledge.

The college has state-of-the-art infrastructure along with a very good placement record in 2023.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students get placed under the guidance of DCPD, the Department of Career Planning and Development. The highest package so far is 52 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA, while the median package is between 8 LPA and 10 LPA. SDE is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: State-of-the-art infrastructure is available in my college. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and ACs are available in the rooms. The library is fully AC and Wi-Fi enabled, with lots of books and comfortable chairs. Hostel facilities include CCTV, 24x7 electricity and water supply. Food quality is amazing and changes every week. Wi-Fi is provided along with the bed almirah and study table.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and provide guidance whenever required. The course curriculum is relevant to industry standards as my university collaborates with IBM and Virtusa to provide the degree (Hons.). Semester exams are not difficult if you study well.
Other: Campus life is amazing. My university organizes many events like coding competitions, sports, fun activities, musical events, and 9X nights as well.

My Chandigarh University
Learning Experience: It just depends on the teachers that are teaching you If you're a fresher then you'll have that teachers that have low teaching experience as the subjects are easy at first. However, as the semesters follow you'll actually get to meet with some really trained teachers who teach really good
Placements: Our college CU is really well known for its placements in Chandigarh and India as well. Various companies like TCS, Microsoft, and even Google have come to offer job opportunities to students.
Faculty: The quality of lectures is overall really great, and the university provides all the basic facilities and necessities required by a student in his/her degree. The teachers are really supportive as well.
Course Support: Overall I would say that this course is really great as anyone who has interest in computers and cannot pursue b.tech due to the non pcm stream, bca is a good option and it is almost same as b.tech

Review of CU by CSE student.
Placements: The placements here are good. I am currently in my 4th year. The companies that have come so far are Amazon and Virtusa. The highest package last year was 54 LPA, and the average was around 8 LPA, with the lowest at 3.45 LPA by TCS. The top roles offered in the placements are SDE and technical support.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. All the facilities are provided to us. The campus is lush and green, and almost all the classes are Wi-Fi enabled. There is AC in every lab and class. There are many stuck shops, a food court, and 3 grounds to play on the campus.
Faculty: The faculty here is average. Some are highly experienced, while some are freshers. They teach through PPT and other material provided on the LMS of the college. There is relatively marking followed here, and one has to maintain a 7.5 CGPA to continue the scholarship.

Placements: Around 60%-70% of students from my batch got placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, the minimum is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Companies are HCL, Tech Mahindra, and others as well. Around 40%-50% of students got internships in various industries, including Palo Alto Networks and Quickheal. The roles offered are cybersecurity analyst, data security expert, and many others.
Infrastructure: Chandigarh University offers excellent infrastructure for every course or department, not just my course, which includes high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, decent classrooms, and vast libraries. Hostels are okay, and the food is not that great. Medical facilities are good and sports facilities are great.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and equipped with great knowledge and skills, while some are decent, and a few don't know a thing about the course. The course curriculum is good, all the subjects are covered in the course, and they did make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are okay, with some hard subjects in each semester.
