Satisfied with faculty, infrastructure, placements, societies, and much more.
Placements: More than 200 students got placed from my course. It was really hard to get here through CUET but we did. The average package offered to B.Com is Rs. 20,000- Rs. 25,000 per month. As Bharti College is a part of Delhi University, many top companies came for recruitment in our college like many American companies and Indian too. Almost 50%-60% of students got internships in Indian MNCs and other big companies too. And lastly, roles offered by our course include accountants, banking jobs, investors, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by our college are also excellent. There are 3 big buildings. Classrooms are big and airy, library is big enough with 2 big floors and every subject book is available with air-conditioners. The auditorium room, sports room, seminar room, theatre room, opportunities cell, music hall, and every subject lab are available. Canteen and cafe are separate with indoor and outdoor eating systems with hygiene and much more.
Faculty: All the teachers provided to us have Ph.D. degrees and are highly qualified. Their teaching quality is so awesome. They teach every subject in detail and with interactions among us. It's so fun to study like this and we understand each concept well. Semester exams are difficult because of the vast syllabus but easy to score well because of the teacher's explanation. Passing criteria is 40% in each subject.
Other: I chose this subject because I am from this subject background and I love to study more about this. I wish there were more practical knowledge with theoretical concepts to get into more deeper insights. Moreover, there are 250+ societies in our college, the campus is big, the crowd is intelligent, and events and fests are always going on every 2-3 months. I also participate in extracurricular activities and win prizes. I love my college so much but college can improve a bit of practical knowledge too.

It is the best college of Delhi University.
Placements: Only 5 students get placements. The highest package is 15 LPA. Companies like Amazon, PW, and Unacadmy hire students. 40-50 students of my department got internships. My course M.Sc. in Mathematics is very interesting, and some topics are very interesting like topology, functional analysis, modules theory, ODE, homology theory, topological dynamics, unbdd, algebraic topology, etc., which are used in real life.
Infrastructure: The hostel has good infrastructure, food, etc. All are very good. My hostel is good compared to other university hostels in food and cleanliness. It has a PG and a good atmosphere. Physical instruments are also available like a fitness gym for good health. So everything is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members of my department are top in India. Recently, my department got all India ranked 1 in the universities ranking, and with IITs, we got all India ranked 8. Faculty members of my department are very educated. Exams are also good in this department. Papers are very good.
Other: My course is M.Sc. mathematics, which is a very good course. I am good at Maths. My course has much research in topology, homology theory, ode, topological dynamics, etc., which is also relatable to real life.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placements in companies is greater than 80% in my college. The highest package offered in my course is 3 LPA and the lowest is Rs. 20,000 per month. The internship percentage of students in my course is 80%. The top role is my course in a maths professor at IIT Delhi.
Infrastructure: Everything is available in my course. Facilities are provided to students. The infrastructure of the college is nice. Wi-Fi and the library are available. The quality of food made in this college is super. Sports and games are present in the college.
Faculty: Teachers in my college are so good and qualified. All teachers in the college have greater teaching quality. This course curriculum is not relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in my course are not easy. The pass percentage is 80% in the course.
Other: Events are so good. The campus crowd is high. Scholarships are not provided. Extracurricular activities are present in this course.

I'm absolutely happy with the department due to the cool professors and good placement.
Placements: We have an active and functional placement cell. Many students from our department get placed, and some of them are even earning 3 to 4 times more than a professor's income. Major placement companies are S&P Global, BNHS, Wildlife Institute of India, Earthood, NTPC, and many others.
Infrastructure: We do not have an independent hostel, but in every DU hostel, our department has dedicated seats for students, although they are limited. The infrastructure is good, classes are held in auditoriums and seminar rooms, and both have air conditioners. The network is not good in the whole Delhi University premises, but the Wi-Fi works well. The library is fine, has enough books, and the AC is also there.
Faculty: Semester-wise exams are conducted. I'm very happy with the bonding and behaviour of the professors. Since the department provides both M.A. and M.Sc., the first year (till the end of the 2nd semester) has the exact same syllabus, and classes are conducted together. In the 2nd year, there is a difference, M.Sc. students have to go for practicals and all.
Other: The best thing about the course is that it’s relevant to the real world, not just based on hypothetical concepts. In the 2nd year, there are a number of choices of papers from which you have to select some, so I find it the best. One thing I would like to see improved about my course is to provide practicals for M.Sc. students in the first year as well. The department doesn’t organize any annual fest, but the crowd is good since it’s between the campuses, so you get to meet thousands of students. Connectivity is well, you can take a rickshaw from the metro station and ask to be dropped at Gate No. 4 (Science Faculty), from there, it’s just a 100-meter walk.

The toppers of the college provide special cash prizes.
Placements: Masters students were eligible for placements. Almost 78% of students got placements in B.A. social science and in many courses. The highest salary package was 35 LPA, and the average salary package was 15 LPA. Mostly 80% of students got placements. Many local and well-settled companies visited this college. I am preparing for CSIR, NET, and JRF to become a professor, and I want to become a professor at this college.
Infrastructure: The room provided accommodation for two students. It was well furnished and had open and less green surroundings. Meal was very good and had a different menu every day giving four times meals breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Application form was provided by the hostel management and it was to be submitted offline and then students were selected according to the colleges, and their marks in the admission test. I opted for the government hostel which had very good environment with a beautiful garden and a non-polluted environment. Campus had very good environment for the students.
Faculty: Course curriculum was very interesting and well-planned. There were 5 papers in this course, 3 papers were the same as M.Sc. maths line programming, and C+ was additional. There was semester-type exam structure divided into 4 semesters. This course was unique in India because there were a few universities that were running this course. It provided a huge opportunity to get jobs in well-settled companies because every company was hiring operations research students. They want maximum profit at the lowest cost. In this course, we could learn how to earn maximum profit from the lowest investment.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided by the college for our department were very good. Campus was covered by greenery everywhere. Classrooms and labs were modified and well-maintained. The food quality available in mess and canteen was hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members were qualified but not very knowledgeable. They always use books while teaching and always ignore all the doubts asked by the students. Our course curriculum was not relevant and only few activities happened every month. The pass percentage was 54%.

Q: Β  How much does an MSc from DU cost?
    A:

The total tuition fee for MSc courses offered by the University of Delhi-affiliated colleges range between INR 432 and INR 2.3 Lacs depending on the college and MSc course a student is seeking or taking admission to. This fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence is indicative. In reality, the total fee that a student is required to pay is much higher than INR 432 or 2.3 Lacs Indian Rupees. This is because there are other fee components which are charged by DU colleges which include application fee, development charges, exam fee and other components.
