It has a well-equipped campus with decent placements and supportive faculty members.
Placements: I'm pursuing the B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Galgotias University. Overall, the placement support is decent. Around 60-65% of my seniors got placed. The highest package offered is around 18 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. The major recruiters for our course include media houses like Zee Media, NDTV, India TV, Dainik Jagran, and News 18, as well as a few digital marketing and PR firms. About 50% of students secured internships, which are facilitated through the university placement cell or faculty members' connections.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for journalism and mass communication is modern and well-equipped. The department has access to a Mac lab, media editing room, a recording studio, and a photography lab, which are beneficial for hands-on learning. Classrooms are clean and equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are decent, with 24x7 security, clean rooms, and laundry services. The mess food is average but hygienic with a decent variety.
Faculty: Faculty members in the BJMC department are well-qualified and supportive. Many of them come from professional media backgrounds and share practical insights during lectures. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theoretical and hands-on learning. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, covering topics like digital journalism, media law, advertising, public relations, photography, and video production, which helps students prepare for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a focus on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. The pass percentage is high, and the faculty members provide ample support to help students succeed.

The college has a very good infrastructure, good faculty, and a good campus.
Placements: The campus is tremendous, having the biggest library and a single AI Data Science block, which helps to boost the study. The highest package is above 1 crore, and the average package is approximately 3-4 LPA. This university provides many courses like B.Tech and M.Tech in many branches. An internship is also provided by the university.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides hygienic and unlimited food to eat, and it is neat and clean. If you visit the college, you will see the hostel facilities, classrooms, and libraries. The university also supports sports. Each building has a medical service, which is free of cost and provides medicine.
Faculty: The teachers are from IIT, but there is a lack of execution in active learning. Teachers use PPTs and totally depend on PPT, and some teachers put in full effort. There is a 75% attendance criteria, which is followed very strictly by the university, so be prepared.
Other: There are many events and fests to enjoy college life at a low cost compared to other colleges in Noida.

College Life at Galgotias University.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, HCL, Byju's, etc., visit our campus. Students also get placed in many non-tech-based companies like EXL, Axtria, ZS Associates, and Brain & Company. However, placements for undergraduates are not good, as hardly any companies come for undergraduate placements, and only a few demanding for placement were arranged for the process.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, well-designed labs, good classrooms, and a good library. Sports facilities are excellent, featuring a football ground, cricket ground, gymnasium, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis, squash, and badminton. While Wi-Fi is not available in some areas, classrooms and libraries are maintained well.
Faculty: The semester exams are difficult but manageable for students who study from the beginning. The faculty is very well educated and knowledgeable, with most of my faculty members having jobs in the private sector before coming to the university.

Placements: Placements are very decent here. It all depends on the skill that an individual has basically. Galgotias University has developed a strong reputation for its placement support and industry connections, which help students secure good job opportunities after graduation. University has a dedicated training and placement cell that actively works to bridge the gap between students and recruiters. It organises regular training sessions on aptitude, technical skills, communication, and soft skills to make students industry-ready from the very first year.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities at Galgotias University are decent and safe. Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided within or near the campus. Rooms are usually available on single, double, or triple sharing basis with basic furniture and internet access. Hostels have common rooms, mess facilities, laundry services, and round-the-clock security. Food quality is standard with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and hygiene is maintained. Wardens and support staff ensure discipline and resolve student concerns. Hostel facilities are good. Sports and other curriculum are up to the mark.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a brilliant library. I am satisfied with the infrastructure but not with the faculty average placements.
Placements: Last year, only 5-10% of students were placed in their field of study. The highest salary offered was 1 crore, and the average salary was 5-6 lacs. Some of the top companies that recruited were Microsoft, Infosys, and Samsung. They offered roles in sales, entrepreneurship, and other areas.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is really good, but the hostel facilities and food quality are too bad. If you can, I suggest you look for a hostel outside the campus.
Faculty: Some faculty are really helpful, but some are not. I don't know why, but it makes students ready for their field. Exams are not difficult, so if you study average, you'll get good marks.
Other: Because in the future I have to do an MBA, so it will be very helpful for me to get ready for.
