IIT Bombay MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIT Bombay MTech programme is offered for two years in 39 specialisations under 18 departments. Admission to the course is entrance-based. The technology institute accepts scores of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Some of the specialisations offered under the MTech course are Computer Science & Engineering, Electronic Systems, Biomedical Engineering, etc.
Candidates who further get shortlisted need to take part in COAP counselling. It is necessary that each aspirant clear the entrance test with a valid rank. Yes, GATE score is required to get admission to IIT Bombay course. However, aspirants who have not qualified GATE can also get admission based on written test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted candidates are further called for a personal interview round.
