Yes, admission to all the M.Tech courses offered at IIIT Hyderabad is subject to a valid score in the PGEE exam conducted by the institute. For M.Tech in Product Design and Management (PDM), however, students can also have a valid score in GATE/ CEED or PGEE to secure admission. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech in Product Design and Management (PDM) are required to have a valid score in GATE/ CEED/ PGEE exam. For all other M.Tech specialisations available at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, qualifying PGEE is the minimum requirement. IIIT Hyderabad offers M.Tech across four specialisations, namely CSE, Computer Science & Information Security, Computer-Aided Structural Engineering and Product Design and Management.

• Financial support to students whose family income is below INR 8 LPA from the second semester, subject to availability and meeting pre-defined criteria

Yes, IIIT Hyderabad offers part-time courses as well. The professionals are encouraged by the institute to enroll in the PG programmes on a part-time basis also. Final selection to PhD at IIIT Hyderabad is subject to a valid score in one among PGEE/ Winter Research Entrance Test (WREE)/ GATE exam.
