Dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: Placement in our college is pretty good when compared to other government colleges. Sixty percent of students were placed from my department of computer engineering. There are many reputed recruiting companies in our college like Siemens, TCS, Oracle, etc. Nearly forty percent of students got internships in companies like Accenture and EXL. Roles offered in my course mainly comprise Junior Software Engineer and Software Analyst.

Good crowd in a top-ranked university, Jamia Millia Islamia.

Placements: In my branch (E&C) this time, i.e., 2024, the placement percentage was the worst it can be because of the recession. Before 2024, the placement percentage was decent, with 70-90% placed every year. The highest package was 21 LPA in 2023, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The average package is around 7-9 LPA depending on the year. The recruiting companies are C.dot, TCS, Wipro, and many core companies. In my course, since it's compulsory to do an internship in the 3rd year, everyone is doing it right ...

Overall, good. The fee for self-finance is very high compared to regular.

Placements: Placement is good at Jamia Millia Islamia. Most students do get placed. The highest package last year was around 50-55 LPA, while the lowest package is generally 4-5 LPA. Companies like EXL, Infosys, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiters. However, our course was introduced just this year, but as per the course structure, it states we can go for both software and hardware engineering.

Placements: The ROI is very good. There are excellent placement offers that the college provides. There are PSUs like BEL that come for recruitment, and different companies like TCS visit frequently, along with big companies for placement drives.

In 16000 INR, it is absolutely worth it. Outcome is great as compared to input.

Placements: This year placement are quite low all over the college and universities. In jamia placements are above average comparing the NIT and iits. Placement in computer branch is very good comparing the other branches the highest package this year is 69 Lacs only one student then above 15 Lacs there are 5 to 6 students then above 10 there are 10 to 15 students and others gets something like 8 Lacs or 9 Lacs. Every almost all the students looking for the get the job.
