JMI Entrance Exam Pattern 2025: The Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) prescribes the JMI Entrance Exam Pattern. The JMI Entrance Exam 2025 exam pattern consists of the stages of the exam, sections, time duration, and marking scheme. Candidates preparing for the JMI entrance exam are advised to go through the exam pattern before starting their preparations. As per the exam pattern of the JMI entrance exam 2025, the B.A. Hons (Mass Media), will be of 100 marks out of which part A will be of 40 marks while part B will be of 60 marks. The time duration will be 1 hour 45 minutes. For the M.A. (Mass Communications) paper part A will hold 120 marks while part B will consist of Interview and Portfolio that hold 45 and 55 marks respectively. The time duration of this exam will be 3 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer for MCQs in all programs at the University. Candidates obtaining less than 15% marks in the Multiple Choice questions will not be shortlisted for interview/ admission. As per the general guidelines released by the university, candidates obtaining less than 30% marks in the descriptive part of the Entrance Test, wherever applicable, will not be shortlisted for interview/ admission.
