As per the NIRF report 2024, out of 103 Integrated PG graduates 43 were placed successfully during the 2023 drive. This makes the placement rate 42%. Earlier, 37% of the batch was placed in 2022. No, Kashmir University offers its MBA programme in distance learning mode. Through Centre of Distance and Online Education the university used to provide a PG Diploma in Business Administration, but that has been discontinued. Candidates who want take admission in the MBA programme at Kashmir University will have to apply in the offline full-time mode through the multiple affiliated colleges of the university.

The University of Kashmir, South Campus, has an MBA as its top course for many reasons, which include the quality of education, the faculty and the top opportunities for its students. Here, the MBA is a four-semester programme that emphasizes the development of students' overall personality through many practical activities. For courses like MBA, M Pharma, BTech and MTech, you have to submit your CMAT, GPAT, JEE Mains and GATE scores. For other courses you have to give a separate entrance exam conducted by the University and based on your merit you will get admission.

For PG admissions, GPAT, GATE, CMAT scores are considered for admissions. Additionally, admission to various UG courses is merit-based. For BTech admissions, JEE Main and JKCET scores are considered for shortlisting the students.

Admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus, is primarily merit-based. The minimum eligibility criteria for UKSC Anantnag UG admission is that the students should have 10+2/Intermediate/PUC. 

Over the years this Campus has become a preferred destination of students belonging to various parts of the Jammu and Kashmir, for Post Graduate degree programmes being offered in the disciplines of Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, English, Education, M.Ed. and Urdu. 

To be eligible for admission to M.Sc. courses at University of Kashmir, South Campus, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in a relevant topic from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points in order to be considered for admission to the University of Kashmir, South Campus's M.Sc. programs. However, this may differ for specific specialisations or reserved categories.
