LPU MSc Admission 2025: How to Apply?
LPU MSc admission to all the above-mentioned specialisations is done through an online mode. Candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to apply online through the LPU admission portal. The common LPU application process is shown below:

The detailed process to apply for LPU admission is mentioned below:
Step 1: Signup
- Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile number, state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registration.
- Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password
Step 2: Application for admission
Candidates can continue to take admission and then apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes):
- Fill in the application form
- Select the programme from the available course list
- Make an initial payment of INR 10,000 (which consists of an application fee of INR 500, rest is part of the programme fee for the first semester). After making the payment, the University will dispatch the prospectus at the correspondence address (entered in the application form) and a unique provisional registration no. will be generated and sent to the registered email-id.
- Upload the required documents. All the submitted documents are verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines during admission.
- Deposit the balance fee within the timelines as prescribed by LPU
Step 3: Apply for LPUNEST
Lovely Professional University conducts an online eligibility/scholarship test, LPU NEST basis which students can avail a number of scholarships.
- Deposit the test fee: The cost for the application form and soft copy of the LPU NEST Kit is INR 1,000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls) and fill the application form of LPUNEST.
Step 4: Book the exam slot and appear for it
- Candidates are now required to book a slot (with their preference of date and time) to appear for LPUNEST
- Appear and qualify the test

- Recent photograph
- Mark sheet and passing certificates of Class 10, Class 12 and graduation
- Qualifying exam certificate/ mark sheet
- Address proof
Also, students are advised to carry the following documents (both the original and the copy) at the time of reporting to the University campus:
- Certificate and mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12
- Character/ school leaving/ transfer document
- Entrance test rank/ score card (if applicable)
- Three passport-size photographs of the student
- Proof of residence
- Aadhaar Card of the students and their parents

The campus life is too good.
Placements: Top roles would be sales and human resources roles, which are common to all streams.
Others would be an intern, food product developer, processing intern, or quality control associate.
Bd Agro, Nestle, and Hunger Box are the main recruiters in our university.
Infrastructure: Mess has different varieties of food available with hygiene. WiFi is available on campus and in the hostels. Classrooms have Wi-Fi and smart projectors for classes. Labs and libraries are well equipped with all the needs, and there's a person to guide.
Faculty: Teaching quality is excellent. There's a guide to help us with research dissertation work. Also a personal mentor who will sort academic and non-academic problems. Exams are moderate, but we should obviously study. Teachers provide us with enough material.
Other: All cultures and festivals are celebrated encouraging one another. The crowd is so cheerful and positive. Scholarships make it easy for us to afford the study and campus life.

Placements: 92% is the percentage of students who were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is 16 LPA. The lowest package offered in our course is 2.5 LPA. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is 62%.
The recruiting companies are HCL, JP Morgan, Read, and Meta.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in our college. Each class has a Wi-Fi connection. The infrastructure of the college is good. Labs are well-equipped with all computers and many. The hostel quality of food available in the mess is good, and the canteen also provides good food. The library is large.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they teach us more about all concepts. They are qualified with all facilities. The course curriculum is relevant. They make sure the students are industry-ready. The semester exams are hard. The passing percentage is 72%.

Placements: Over 95% of the total strength of students got placed and the highest package offered was INR 10 lacs per annum; the average package offered was INR 6 lacs per annum. Meta, Adobe, Amazon, and Google were some of the top recruiting companies. The top roles offered were Web Designer, UI Designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Various laboratories with high-end computers (which have elite-level of software programs installed) are present, some of which are multimedia labs, animation labs, graphic design labs, etc. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with the latest technology. A huge collection of books is available in the library.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were extremely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, along with having an excellent understanding of the subject matter. The teaching quality is way above what we expected; it is incredible. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are somewhat difficult but can be cracked.

I am not satisfied with placements and course curriculum but it has good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In B.Tech and MBA departments, more than 80% of students got placed. But for M.Sc. students, there are very few placement opportunities. For internships, only 40% of students got internships. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. But they all hire B.Tech students only. For M.Sc., students, there are no good placements.
Infrastructure: In LPU, the infrastructure of our course is very good, and they provide free Wi-Fi. But the residential fee is very high. They provide good food in the mess at low prices, and they also provide gym and sports facilities at a little cost. They provide excellent labs for practicing.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful. Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. holders, and they have good knowledge. I can rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5. I am a student of Master's in statistics and data analytics. For data analyst, SQL is very important, but it was missed in my course curriculum. The rest is good.
Other: I chose this course for doing something new.

Placements: There are less opportunities for M.Sc forensic science. No companies or forensic labs are there to recruit. Placements in this course need improvements. Contact with forensic labs in India can improve the placements in this field. Due to fewer opportunities students are not getting admitted to this course.
Infrastructure: The campus is very big. Classrooms and library have a decent atmosphere. Mess food is average. Wi-Fi facility on the campus is good. Laboratories have enough facilities. Canteen is very good. There are good opportunities in sports and games. Some students qualified for Olympics.
Faculty: Faculty members of forensic Science are good and well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant to subjects. Exams management is good. Other placement classes are also running for skill development. There is a department for personal student queries. The curriculum of this course is good.
