MGU CAT 2025 admit card for all courses will be released on June 4, 2025. Candidates will be required to download their admit cards from the exam website. To download the admit card, candidates will have to use the login credentials created at the time of exam registration.

MGU CAT 2025 application process has started. Candidates can fill the form from April 25 to June 2, 2025. The MGU CAT application dates were announced by MG University at its website for all courses. The application schedule may be extended and the new deadline will be announced by the university at its website.

What is MGU CAT?
Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test or MGU CAT is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam for admissions to various Postgraduate programmes offered by the University such as MSc, MA, Master of Tourism and Travel Management, LLM and M.Ed. For admission to MTech programme, candidates with GATE score can apply directly. For admission to the MBA programmes offered by MGU, candidates are selected on the basis of CMAT/CAT/KMAT score. Such candidates have to participate in MGU CAT counselling process only.

Commonly asked questions
MGU CAT exam centres are located in five cities across Kerala. The centres are at Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur. Candidates can opt a maximum of three centres on a preferential basis. However, the decision of allotment will be made by the MG University.
The MBA entrance exam scores are valid for admission to MG University’s MBA courses are CAT, CMAT and KMAT. Candidates must have passed any one of these exams in the same academic year. They are not required to appear for MGU CAT and can directly participate in the personal assessment round – GD and PI.
After the MGU CAT exam is conducted and the result is announced, the university conducts a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) which includes PI or GD-PI. CAT qualifying candidates have to participate and clear the GD/PI round for their respective courses to be selected for admission. Thereafter the final merit list is prepared based on candidates’ overall performance.
