As we know it's the top no. 1 NIT in India. So facilities are better then other colleges.

Placements: For architecture there is no proper placement in my college but on average it's 25,000 RS. Per month is there ( in campus placement ). Many seniors got placed above 70,000 per month also but not in architecture field so if you are in architecture department, does't mean that u will get job related to architecture only. For architecture Placement will be around 60% with average 25,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college you can say good but if you ignore water problem. Water is the biggest problem in Trichy city so water is not good. As I am studying in the college so I am known will the facilities. Wi-Fi is good in every hostel sports facilities is also very good, some classrooms are having AC but some don't have. Hostels are good but far away from the departments quality of food is average for seniors but for 1st years it's not good and outside canteens are not much available in ...

The college has good facilities but poor faculty.

Placements: Placements are provided for our branch from the last 3 years. We still are prohibited from appearing for CPC (which is a test the placement cell takes so as to assure your placement through college). Roles offered are architect (say core jobs), sales, management etc. One can also sit for software companies if interested. Though there will be many companies coming with non-core profiles, most of them (80-90%) won't recruit students from our branch or will simply chuck us in resume shortlisting (t...

A really amazing experience that I'd love to live again. Most beautiful phase of my life yet.

Placements: The placements of our college were decent. The demonitisation and Mr Trump had a little effect on the companies visiting the campus as I believe. The profiles offered were pretty good. Some companies did offer management level profiles to the freshers. Quite a lot of data analytics and business analyst posts were offered on the campus. Some big recruiters like Microsoft, Qualcomm and Amazon, came for the recruitment process along with the PSUs like BPCL, ONGC, etc. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Mor...

A typical architecture campus in India without a studio.

Placements: Actually, architecture colleges won't have any placements in their campus because the students do not need any placements as they have opportunities outside. The architectural design firms are very small and they won't come to the campus to conduct placements. But in NITT, we have good enough placement offers, but most of them are civil engineering-based, so most of the students are not really interested to sit for the placements.

Infrastructure: There is a good Wi-Fi faci...

My honest review and experience at NITT.

Placements: The architecture students majorly don't prefer placements. A few take good deals from non-core companies. The other B.Tech category gets significant placement offers. The packages are good enough. The internship facilities are terrific. NIT brand helps in getting companies.

Infrastructure: The academic buildings are architectural marvels, whereas hostel buildings have nothing great to talk about. The campus is enormously vast in the area with good vegetation and breathing space. There are 4 ATMs, a number of foo...

I had a lovely time in the college. Good infrastructure, ecosystem, people, etc.

Placements: The placements were mediocre for the architecture branch, but it improved this year with more companies coming forward. Even the companies which are not entirely related to the branch gave us the opportunities. Junior architect in LnT, a graphic designer in magazines, architect for civil companies like Nadel enterprises are some of the posts we were offered.

Infrastructure: The eco-friendly environment, focused on high roofs to keep the room cooler and windows for lighting. A central courtyard with vegetation. T...

In terms of infrastructure, the college is good. One of the best parts about being in an engineering college rather than an architecture college is that you get a wholesome experience with all the big fests and all sorts of clubs and activities. In terms of faculty, our department can do better. There are only a handful of professors that I think are passionate about teaching. In terms of placement, it is not great as is the case with most architecture colleges in the country. Pay packages are v...

Being a deemed university and having the government recognition, this institute has all the resources available. There is a monumental scale library. The college has its own swimming pool, shopping centres, grounds etc. Having said that, infrastructure wise it is great. Being one of the top ranked colleges in India and having a strong alumni network internationally, placements are exceptional. The college has a well-qualified and exceptional faculty team.

The college provides quality education and has an intellectual peer group. The college gives equal importance to extracurricular activities like sports, theatre, music, and dance. It shapes up the students' career by emphasising on overall development. Be it 'Festember' or 'Nitfest', the organisation of a department symposium, the students organise it to the core. These events inculcate team spirit, leadership qualities and more importantly self-confidence. Regarding infrastructure and facilitie...

The infrastructure is good. A gym, swimming pool sports centre, basketball court and other facilities are there. It has a very good library apart from the departmental library. NITT has a full dedicated department for training and placements. The faculty members are well qualified and geniuses of their specialisation.

Placements are not up to the mark here.

Placements: Placements and internship opportunities are available for almost all branches and streams present in the college. The internship is usually the summer intern after the 6th semester. Placements start right from the 7th semester and go on till late after the 8th semester also. The salary packages offered are very low.

Infrastructure: It has sports facilities like a swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court, etc. Every hostel, library, and computer center had Wi-Fi. Library houses many books and is well spacious and let. The equipment in the lab is of modern technology. There are 28 hostels in total inside the campus. All hostels are good and equipped with Wi-Fi and common rooms with air-conditioners. The hostels are different in capacity ranging from 3-sharing, 2-sharing, and single-sharing rooms. The allocation depen...

I am enjoying my college life to the fullest.

Placements: The placements are too good. 60% of students are placed from college. The highest package offered is approximately 1 lakh per month and the lowest is 30k per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is too good. There are lots of building in this college. Mess food is good but it is a little costly for some. But I find it affordable. The sports facility is there.
