Good infrastructure and placement opportunities.

Placements: IBM, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Wells Fargo, LTI Mindtree, L&T, Tata Exelis, Caterpillar, and many other MNCs and startups visit for placements. The highest placement offer, as far as I know, is between 18,00,000 and 24,00,000, while the minimum package is around 3,50,000 to 4,00,000. A maximum of 90% of students are placed. Placements: PLACEMENTS WAS AVERAGE HERE IN SASTRA, TOP COMPANIES ARE WELLSFARGO, JPMORGAN, PAYPAL, FIDELITY, ORACLE etc. In my course, I don't know the exact percentage, but a good number of students are placed with a decent average package. Internship opportunities are less.

SASTRA is good and would recommend to all.

Placements: The average package for all departments is around 6 LPAs. The most placements are in SOC (computer science-based). Most students in my department and my course opt for higher education, but we do have placements, and graduates work for top companies like Dr. Reddys.

Placements: If I were asked about placements in our college, I would likely say that your CG matters. Because the guys with more CGPA will be getting placed to their core jobs rather than getting placed in an anonymous job which is unknown to them.
