Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: I'm a first-year student AIML student, as 70%-80% of students in CSE got placed in reputed tech companies across different domains like software, AI, and data analytics. Top roles are python developer, software developer, and roles in cloud and web development.
Infrastructure: AI&ML labs have good systems, and classrooms have projectors. There is a tiny bit of cleanliness issue. Library has no air-conditioning but has nice collection if engineering books. Hostel rooms are decent but again not clean. Laundry runs our clothes too. Food in mess is terrible. Gym is always overpacked.
Faculty: Some faculty lack practical knowledge and focus too much on theory. Doubt clearing is slow, and interactive sessions are rare. They only teach from PPT and well classroom learning gets boring after sometime. Teaching quality varies a lot from one subject to another.
Other: Campus is boring. The fest is nice but only happens once every two years. Clubs are active. Connectivity is average but improving. Students are decent too. College needs to have a more lively campus with Workshops and fests. Early interaction with companies would be helpful.

Srm Delhi review honest .
Placements: Around 85% of students got placed. The highest is 20 LPA, the average package is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL. Many got internships in startups, and AI roles like ML engineer, data analyst, and SDE. The placement cell is decent but I feel most students are in stuck in internships leading to placements.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped. The classrooms are SMART technology wise but the air conditioning in some are terrible. Which is a real serious issue in this terrible heat. Even after countless complain they don't fix it. Similarly he library doesn't have an AC which means students cant sit their to study peaceful.
Faculty: Curriculum is average. It does the job of making a student industry ready but I feel first year students can have a better curriculum. The first year has a lot of irrelevant subjects which aren't necessary. Rather the students should start learning about technology related subjects from first year and not waste 2 semesters.
Other: The fests are TERRIBLE. I have never seen a university with a dryer fest than here. They only do fest once every two years. The campus life is seriously so boring. There are no fest and no activities which you can do after being done with classes. Extra curricular activities are non existent. Sports don't have any variety.

SRM unbiased review in 2024.
Placements: Placements are something we lack as our campus is more focused on the placements of the main campus. For my batch, the average salary package offered ranges between 4-8 LPA and crosses 10-15 LPA from time to time. Companies like Oracle, Deloitte, and Amazon visit the college for placements. Services need to be improved for our branch, and placements have a lot of room for improvement.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 30 acres, with a 5-floor academic block housing 16 air-conditioned classrooms per floor, providing comfort during hot summers. Washrooms vary in condition, which needs improvement on higher floors. The library is a peaceful favorite place, which offers seating but requires more copies of books for sharing with us. The highlight is the Vendhar Centre, a dedicated air-conditioned lab floor featuring IMAC-equipped labs, which is maintained beautifully. Seminar halls have 1,600 seats, while the conference hall located outside the academic block is well-maintained for important meetings.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and approachable. They use interactive teaching methods, though the quality varies slightly. The course curriculum is industry-focused, especially for specialisations like data science, AI/ML, and cybersecurity, though frequent exams made in-depth study challenging. Exams are moderately difficulty, with no preparation leave for internals. Regular effort is needed to manage the rigorous schedule.

It is an average college but much more expensive.
Placements: In the 2024 placement session, the highest package awarded is 18 LPA. The average package ranges from 7-8 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Almost 60% of students get placed within campus during the placement drive. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, and JP Morgan. Around 70-80% of students got internships in companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, HP, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is accessible to all students on campus in either classrooms or library or hostel with good speed. Labs are well established with most labs having capacities of up to 60 students with high-speed internet and fast computers. Some labs have IMac installed and the rest of the majority are Lenovo. Classrooms are not so good looking but every classroom has AC installed. The library has access to almost every book a person would want from fiction to study-related. Hostels are well established providing students with average quality food. It has sports facilities and free medical assistance.
Faculty: Teachers are all PhD qualified from different universities all across India. They are pretty helpful to students in solving doubts or understanding different concepts. Some parts of the course curriculum are not relevant like they teach Biology to CSE students which is not needed and practical practice is less and theory is more making students less ready for the industry. Exams are pretty easy, which makes students get good grades easily with a pass percentage of 50%.
Other: There are 2 types of fests 1 is cultural and the other is technical both taking place in different years so a student can attend 2 cultural fests and 2 technical fests in their college life. Connectivity is good as people from Delhi, Noida, Meerut, and nearby all come to this college.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and the good placements in 2023.
Placements: Roles active in this college are data analyst, software developer, web developer, android app developer, cyber security guard, ethical hacker, logical advisory, cloud computing services, AI and ML, robotics, and IoT services in various fields of the sector.
Infrastructure: In our college, the Wi-Fi facility is good, and for labs, there is a center called Vendhar Knowledge Centre (VKC), which is well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned, with 15 labs equipped with well-functioning computers and updated software. The library is excellent, offering many books both online and offline, with an online website called Library OPAC to check book availability. Classrooms are decent; hostel facilities are good, with both AC and non-AC rooms available. Mess food is decent and edible, and the canteen food is good and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable about the subjects they teach, and the teaching quality is really good. Some faculty members are extremely helpful to the students. The curriculum is very relevant to the industry. Subjects like DAA, DSA, and DBMS in the second-year syllabus are particularly helpful for career and placement opportunities. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite easy if you review the teachers’ notes and PYQs. The passing percentage is 50%..

Not good according to the feels they take.
Placements: According to college faculty and the placement cell, 90 percent of students were placed in companies. The highest package placed was 18 LPA till now, and many were above 10 LPA. The average package was around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Capgemini, EA Sports, Microsoft, and 70 percent of students got internships in companies like TCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is good on campus and available for everyone. Labs have computers like iMac and good Lenovo computers with good internet connectivity. Classrooms are not that good as, during the rainy season, the classes start leaking and look more like school classrooms with wooden benches. But they have ACs installed. The library is good with many books and AC installed. But as the college doesn't provide books to each student, we have to issue them from the college library, due to which not everybody can avail them. I am not in the hostel, so I would not be able to tell about it properly.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and Ph.D. qualified with great knowledge, but lack teaching skills somewhere. The students are not able to understand what the teacher is teaching. They provide material for self-study. The course curriculum is relevant, but you have to study it all by yourself. It somehow makes students industry-ready, but at some places like they teach us Biology, which is not needed for CSE students. But it may be helpful if they further want to opt for bioengineering. The semester exams are not that hard, but easy to pass. The pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE because I had an interest in computer languages and applications. I love learning about computers. There were no fests till now on our campus other than freshers, which is a negative point. No events were arranged for us even at this high field. There is nothing near the campus in the surroundings, only RRTS train connectivity. The campus crowd is a mix of students from Delhi, Noida, UP, Bihar, and even Jaipur.
