    My review of this college.
Placements: Placements are proactive, and SRM is a sea of opportunities. Placements are ongoing, and till now, companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, KPIT, Tech Mahindra, and many other companies visit the college for placements. The average package ranges between 3-4 LPA. The highest package is 40 LPA. For two weeks every morning, we prepare for interviews. Software companies are more numerous than the core companies, which will take students in bulk. Many companies like Wipro, Accenture, and other nearby companies offer internships. Students should just maintain a CGPA, and they will get placed in a renowned company.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well equipped with proper electricity, water supply, and great hygiene. The room sharing includes 3 members, and it helps in maintaining a cordial and friendly atmosphere. The mess food is also of good quality, and hygiene is prioritised as an important factor.
Faculty: Faculty members are too good, and they explain every concept in detail. No doubt, they are the best at explaining things. They are friendly, polite, and hardworking. The difficulty level of exams is way too high. Compared to other universities, there is nothing special, and they only think externally. The external is of 70 marks, and the internal is of 30 marks, so we all concentrate on 70 marks. Professors help to make exams easy, but the paper evaluation is done by IIT professors. I know that exams are challenging and can be conveniently managed with a proper grading scheme. The course I did is quite interesting, but a little concentration is needed at a time of practicals. Elective subjects should always be taken according to our interests. The computer science department should have one of the programming languages from the beginning of the course. Few electives are robotics and its application, operations research, alternative sources of energy, etc.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Being a computer science student, there were many job opportunities on the campus in the year I attended to placements. There were like 6500 job placements. There were many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, and Honeywell. They also offered internships at our college. They offered various amount as a stipend. But on an avergae, there were like Rs 20,000 per month for intern students. Some companies even offered many perks for the students like weekend outing, parties, pickup and drop with cab at our convent time.
Infrastructure: I would rate 4 on 5 for hostel facilities, they were good and provided good facilities. They provided free Wi-Fi, nice and hygienic washrooms. The sweepers sweep the floor daily hostels were maintained good. There were excellent lab facilities at the university, and we could use the labs even after college hours.
Faculty: Faculty members at the college were very helpful. They helped me in all aspects of academics and non-academics. The first year focused on expanding the basic knowledge acquired in class 12 on microeconomics and macroeconomics. In the second and third years, there was a shift in the course structure as you learn the advanced concepts of the two branches of economics as well as understand econometrics, financial, and international economics. Highly qualified faculty members and staffs with average experience served the college with average experience of over 20 years. Curriculum had 2 years duration. M.Tech develops an advancement in the field of technology. Each of the four semesters had six-months duration. Each course will be covered in approximately 40 lecture hours.

Good infrastructure and good in academics, but the worst in environment and drug management.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in my course. Maximum was 10 LPA and minimum was 3 LPA, and many companies are there for the placements. Top roles offered were full-stack development courses, but many of them tried their level best. The college also helped their level best.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not good overall, and canteen food is the worst, but the infrastructure is good. Drugs are used on the campus everywhere, and in the hostel also it's surrounding. This is a good college, and I am very proud to be an SRM student. I got placed successfully, and during my time there were no environmental issues, but it is more now.
Faculty: Exams are more strict and well-prepared. Exams they are conducting for students are a little tough, and it’s good for the students to clear the semester. These exams are stricter than the semester exams, and even the cycle test feels like semester exams. So in that range, they are maintaining their academic standards.

Chose SRM to pursue your higher studies.
Placements: As per my knowledge, SRM placements in 2024 had the highest package of 52 LPA and an average package of up to 7.19 LPA. Over 980 companies visited, making more than 5,546 offers. We had a good mix of companies show up, ranging from core engineering to IT and even some management roles.
Infrastructure: Alright, so talking about the infrastructure, I would give a solid 4 out of 5 stars because our department had pretty decent facilities. Wi-Fi facility was usually reliable, which was a lifesaver for assignments and research. Labs were generally well-maintained and had the equipment we needed for practical work.
Faculty: So, for faculty members, curriculum, and exams, I'd probably give it a 4. Some of teachers were absolutely brilliant, really passionate about their subject, but then there were others who clearly just phoned it in, you know. The curriculum itself was alright, mostly up to date, though some courses felt a little irrelevant to the real world. As for exams, they tested what you needed to know, but the format could be a bit archaic at times. It definitely could used some modernization there.

    My review of this college.
Placements: Students were eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Nutanix, Amazon, Microsoft, Toyota, L&T, Bosch, Cognizant, etc., visited. The highest package during my college time was 28 LPA, and the lowest was 2.7 LPA, with an average of about 4-5 LPA. About 40% of students got placed every year, and the rest mostly got off-campus placements or planned for higher studies in India and abroad. Internships, mini projects, and assignments were assigned to create more exposure and experience for the students as much as possible.
Infrastructure: Stipends were provided for the entire two years of study in the institution as per the college rules. Hostel rooms were decent with all the required facilities, with 2 or 3 sharing, attached and common bathrooms, and also non-AC rooms available. Mess food was hygienic, and the quality was good, but average in taste. Hostels were highly affordable and easily available, with a good number of rooms available for students and inmates every academic year. PG or rented rooms were not that easily available because of the remote location.
Faculty: The goal of biotechnology was to produce drugs by using living organisms such as bacterial cells, yeast, mammalian cells, etc., which were placed in culture to produce substances with pharmacological activity. Faculty members of my department were well-educated, had very high practical knowledge, and were student-friendly. Most faculty members were associate professors. For B.Tech, they conducted three cycle tests and model exams for practical and theory before the university exams, and for M.Tech, two CTs were conducted. CT1 consisted of units 1-2, and CT2 covered units 3, 4, and 5, along with model practical before the university exams.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology review .
Placements: Almost more than 50 percent of the students in my batch were placed in different companies. The lowest package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest package offered was 4 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were Biocon, Dindigul Thalappakatti, Britannia, Hatsun, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with highly advanced laboratories with proper machinery and equipment. A big central library with physical and virtual learning materials all available for the students. All the classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi accessibility. The quality of the food available in the hostel is very good and nutritious, with both vegetable and non-vegetarian choices. Other than hostels, the college offers a wide variety of food shops and stalls inside the campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are skilled, well qualified and equipped with the proper skills and knowledge to handle the classes. The teaching quality is very advanced and helps with real-world problems. The learning process is highly focused on making real-world applications on a teaching basis.
Other: I chose food safety and quality management because of my affinity for food science and food quality control. Some of the best things about this course are the spectrum of learning, its application, which is quite wide and its scope in real-world applications. I wish there was more practical learning in the course rather than more theory. A lot of events and festivals are conducted annually by the college as well as the student bodies present on campus.
