College stands high at both pros and cons.

Placements: 70% of the students were placed and remaining chose higher studies. The lowest package was 2 LPA and the highest was 60 LPA and on average, 5 LPA was offered by top companies like Biocon, Serum, SunPharma, etc. that visited the campus placement and recruited talented students.

Poor placements for the 2024 batch.

Placements: Around 50% of the students were placed. A few companies came. Mostly, it was for biomedical sales. The two major companies were Capgemini and Johnson & Johnson. Mass recruitment did not happen. Many companies did not take any students. However, by the end, most people are somehow placed.

Only join this college if it is your last resort.

Placements: You do have companies visiting the campus for placements but they barely hire 2-3 students from a pool of over 4000 applicants. We had companies like PayPal, Dell, Barclays, jp Morgan, Philips and Siemens that came to recruit interns but they barely hired 5 interns out of which 50% were girls. It’s almost impossible to get past the initial resume screening, most people are rejected even before they write a test. So unless your resume is truly exceptional, getting an internship is close to imposs...

Wanna enjoy college life ?, join this institute.

Placements: I chose to enroll in SRM KTR due to its placement record. However, this year has seen a downturn in placements, with less than 40% of students having secured jobs thus far, largely due to the ongoing recession. Despite these challenges, the college is actively striving to attract new companies. Notably, the highest package offered this year reached 50 LPA, with the lowest ranging between 2.5 and 3 LPA for the CSE branch. Major companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, and Tata are top recruiters.

Decent infrastructure but not good teachers.

Placements: I personally am in CSE AIML, so we got 100% placement last year. The highest package was 50 LPA, as far as I know. Don't quote me on that though. All the big companies come to recruit here. The average package is 20 LPA, and again don't quote me on that. I do not know the internship percentage because they don't give that, and the market is also down, so it's hard to get internships now.

Placements: I don't have personal information or specific data regarding placements for my batch or course. However, I can provide a general overview based on common trends in placements. Placement Statistics Overview: Placement Percentage: Typically, the percentage of students placed in a course can vary widely based on factors like the demand for specific skills, the reputation of the university, and individual student performance. It's common for universities to aim for a high placement percentage, oft...

SRM: A boon or a tear in your wallet.

Placements: The placements are the best aspect of SRM and probably the main reason I chose SRM as they have a 95% placements rate. The minimum placement package offered is 6LPA to 7LPA while the average is around 9 or 10 LPA. They also have very good companies such as Amazon, JP Morgan and Barclays coming in for internships and placement opportunities. I think the top roles offered are that of Front end developer, Full stack developer and UI/UX Designers.

Placements: 80-90 percent of the students were placed in this course. The highest package offered was 42.5 LPA by Amazon and the least package was 12 LPA at Fidelity investment with an average package of about 20-24 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Bajaj Finserv, IBM, Infosys, Pifzer, Philips, SAP, Sutherland, Tek systems, Vedanta, Amdocs are here for us. Every student tries to secure a good internship which leads to the impression at placement grounds. Top roles offered are that of machines learn...

The worst college for subjects and placements. I don't recommend you to join this college.

Placements: A very few students were placed in my course due to lack of knowledge regarding the subjects, this is all because of the faculty. We have raised complaints against them but the management doesn't care about it. If any one is interested to join this college only for placements, it’s better to choose another course in this college because this course is not the correct one to choose for getting placed. Some companies used to come here to hire us but that was a waste of time as they conducted inter...

Placements: Placements are very good and almost 90 percent of the students were placed in the recent campus hiring. Top hiring companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro and many tech giant companies. College makes us ready not to look for job opportunities, instead they train us to start a startup like an entrepreneur. A brief about the SRMIST .

Placements: The placements here are quite decent. The highest package this year was 53 lacs given by some gaming companies. The average package is 800000 this year. The internship offers are here as well, assuming you have skillful knowledge. A stipend depends on the work you are doing and for which company as well.

I was not satisfied with the faculty; they teach from books. And they are not helpful to students.

Placements: 80% of people live mostly in MNCs. The remaining went for MS. Amazon offered 45 lacs. The lowest is some 3 lacs. If you want, placements were good at that time, but now the scenario is different and companies conduct on hard grounds. Interviews are very tough. Accept reality and study hard.

Placements: Placements are very good. The highest package given was about 1 Cr to a 2021 passout I think, and now he has settled in Canada. The lowest is about 2 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Coke often visit for workshops and sponsorships. I would recommend people to come here.
