VIT Vellore is a place to learn and a chance to grow.
Placements: Out of 250 students, 172 have been placed this year with an average package of 13.70 LPA, a median package of 10.4 LPA, and a maximum package of 102 LPA. Major companies like IBM, Motorq, Oracle, Google, Microsoft, Walmart, etc. Visit our branch and recruit students. For example, Microsoft has hired two students from our branch.
Infrastructure: Hostels are far better than those in any other college in India. The infrastructure provided is sufficient for any research work if you want to pursue it. There are also AC hostels, a paid Olympic-size swimming pool, a squash court etc. Overall, the infrastructure is excellent compared to any other college.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated and qualified, and they do not discriminate based on region. Exams are conducted in three parts CAT 1, which is a closed-book exam of 50 marks with a weightage of 15 marks CAT 2, which is also a closed-book exam with the same format as CAT 1 and FAT, which is a closed-book exam of 100 marks and carry 40 marks weightage, rest is digital assignments and quizzes which comprises of 30 marks.
Other: I got 96% in JEE Main with a rank of 70,000. So it was inevitable for me to join this college but considering my rank, this is possibly the best college I could get.

If you have money, I guess it is a good college; the 30 lakh fee is way too high.
Placements: If you get good grades, you will be able to sit in most of the companies, like if you get above 9 CGPA, then you can sit in every company, and if you get less than that 9 CGPA, then you will not be able to sit in the super dream company (10 lakh and above). Not everyone sits in the placement; those who have a good CGPA are allowed, and the highest is 75 lpa, and the lowest can vary in case the company picks you up in bulk, which will give you around 3–4 lpa.
Infrastructure: I am currently in a 2 bed AC, non-veg mess, hostel but I was allotted 4 beds non-AC due to the limited number of rooms available, so freshers might face this when they come, but after a few days it will be all adjusted. But then room quality is low because this room I am staying in has high dampness, and they have bunker beds, which are kind of comfortable, but yes, you need to adjust. They also have small cupboards, and the study table is fine. Wi-Fi is slow—I must say very slow (5 mbps). Mess is good; food is great.
Faculty: Exams are at medium level, and teachers are also fine. You will understand that if you pay attention and revise properly before exams, then 8.5 is easily secured. See, everything depends on you. If you are doing self-study, then everything will be smooth for you.
Other: It's a very crowded place; you will see students everywhere.

This is a good college for placements.
Placements: We have many opportunities for on-campus placements. This college provides 100% placements to all students. The highest package is 56 LPA, the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 17 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Amazon, Deloitte, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is better than expected. All facilities are provided. Students must have permission to move off-campus. Free books are available in the library. The food is good, and good facilities are available in the hostel. Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls.
Faculty: High-standard faculty is available at the college. Some faculty members hold doctorates. Helpful and subject-caring teachers are available in this college. The course is good, and a greater number of opportunities are available in this field. Semester-end exams are easy to write.

Placements: Many students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Abode, Amazon, etc. Around 900-1000 students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. The hostel is clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. Its speed is slow. The food served in the canteen is good. The food served in the mess is not good. Classrooms are spacious. Labs are good. Medical facilities are good. They provide an ambulance. Sports and games facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good and highly qualified. They have great teaching techniques. They help us a lot in our learning. They provide extra time. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult. Almost all students easily pass the exams.
Other: I opted for this course because it is a good private college compared to other private colleges. Many events and fests are held in our college. Our college connectivity is good. Our campus surroundings are good.

It is one of the best colleges in India.
Placements: Around 85% of students got placed in the previous year. Around 2 students got placed at MotorQ with salary package of 1.02 CPA and the average salary package is 7.5 LPA. More than 800 companies visit our campus to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Samsung, HP, DE Shaw, Udaan, UBS, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. All the facilities are available in both the hostel and college blocks. Students get access to Wi-Fi across the campus. Labs are fully equipped and functional.
Faculty: Academics are good but a bit hectic. Faculty members are helpful. Maximu of them have done Ph.D. The course curriculum is regularly updated and industry oriented. Exams are moderate to difficult.
Other: Our college has more than 100 clubs and chapters that organise various activities frequently.

Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.

I will not say much but go for BITS, Hyderabad. Study content is really good there. Practical knowledge + no of opportunities to find the real you.
