VGU is pretty good if you can focus on yourself.

Placements: The college offers many placements to students, and they claim 100% placement. Many big tech companies come for recruiting students for their company. The highest package for B.Teach is around 14 LPA and the average package is 5.5 LPA. Almost everyone is the campus can get the internship.

Infrastructure: The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and the infrastructure is pretty good. The library has almost every book related to the subjects and the topics that students might need. The labs have good computers, and they have the software that is needed. The food in the mess & canteen is good, and they have medical facilities available most of the time. Many sports competitions are held regularly.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable; they will surely help you whenever you need them, and the topics are cleared for the first time. The course absolutely makes the students industry-ready and ready for every task. The semester exams are not so hard, and you can actually pass easily by paying a little attention to the subjects.

Other: I chose this course because I like to code and I want to get into the teaching field. The best thing about my course might be the coding labs, as I enjoy them too much and they help me get better.

VGU is not worth the money.

Placements: The college claims the highest package to be around 50 lakhs, but it's from the management department, not from the engineering department. The average placement is just 6 lakhs, and there is no verification for their claims regarding placements and their NAAC A+ rating.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is poor. Classrooms don't have AC, and there are frequent electricity cuts in both the hostel and college campus. This summer, electricity cuts are very frequent, making it very difficult to survive. There is only one electricity generator on the whole campus, which is also used for the admission cell and other staff rooms.

Faculty: The faculty is decent, but some don't even qualify as teachers. The campus Wi-Fi doesn't work, and some of the hostel Wi-Fi also doesn't work. The labs for B.Tech students have some of the oldest computers. The library is too small to accommodate even 100 students at a time. Classes are regular, and a minimum of 75% attendance is kind of mandatory.

Other: There was no freshers' party for our session, and there are hardly any fests on the campus.

Satisfied with the events, clubs and studies but dissatisfied with the management.

Placements: Around 80% of students were placed. The average package was 3.5 LPA and the highest was 11 LPA. Top companies, like TCS and Tech Mahindra, were there. The top roles offered were HR, development, and management roles. Internship facilities were limited but students can get one with the job offered.

Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms were average and the library facilities were good. There are hostels with a lot of seats available and the mess is below average, as the food is not quite satisfactory, according to my opinion. Hostels were good and clean. The greenery was good.

Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful and qualified a little bit but not in all subjects; they need time if you ask out of the syllabus questionnaire. The curriculum was old and needed to be improved based on the current needs of the companies. They offer placement assistance.

Other: Management should be improved. Other events, clubs and everything else were interesting and good.

A Life of engineering At VGU.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students were placed in B.Tech CSE. The highest package of the B.Tech course is 54 lakhs per annum, with an average package of 6 lakhs per annum and a minimum package of 3 LPA. Companies like Amazon, VI, and TSC visit our college. Approximately 90% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all hostels and classrooms. There are many labs in the technical building and approximately 2 libraries in every building. Hostels have various types of rooms like single-seater, double-seater, and triple-seater. In all rooms, they provide you with 1 almirah, 1 study table, 1 chair, 1 bed, and light and fan. There is 1 mess and a canteen. In the mess, we get 4 meals a day, and we can also purchase food or drinks from the canteen.

Faculty: Teachers of B.Tech CSE are very helpful and kind. They are well-qualified in their field, and their teaching quality is very good. Yes, this course is relevant to the industry, making students industry-ready. The semester exam level is normal, neither too hard nor too easy. Absolutely dissatisfied because of the management.

Placements: The average placement salary is 4 Lacs, from what I have been told by the management. However, throughout my personal experience with the seniors, they have told me that the placement percentage at Vivekananda Global University is not as good compared to other universities and colleges.

Infrastructure: If you try to leave the hostel after one year, they will increase your tuition fees so that you can't leave the hostel. The hostels of VGU are the worst. Rooms are very compact and uncomfortable. The price of the hostels is quite high for what they are providing. We often complain about the taste of the food, and sometimes we find insects in the food.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are very good and helpful, but apart from them, others are like they come from an elementary school. They don't even know when to give assignments or quizzes. They don't even know when the exams occur. From my perspective, I think they are improper.

Other: The management of this university is the worst, actually even worse than I can definitely imagine. Every semester, they add some additional dues for no reason. When I took admission to this university, they said that I have to pay just 4 Lacs. But after a few months, they started increasing my fees, and I am still facing that problem. When I complain about this, they said that we never said that the fee is 4 Lacs.
