Absolutely fantastic and career-oriented

Placements: There is no tier-1 company that does not visit my college. I studied with the best and that is what the companies look for. Though I do not have the details, I believe the average salary was 18.8 lakhs. More than the salary, what matters more is the kind of profile that is offered.

Infrastructure: You need to see it for yourself. A five-star facility with 5-star infrastructure. Wi-Fi is all across the campus. The best library there can be. Food is extremely hygienic. Hostel rooms have AC and a housekeeping service at all times. This is more of a hotel that you are staying in.

Faculty: The faculty team that teaches here is from the best. They are extremely research-oriented, that adds credentials to the innovation which the companies are looking for. Regular visits from industry patrons ensure that we are well versed in the latest pedagogy.

ISB, the temple of learning.

Placements: There is a record in placements of 100%. The average package offered is around 25 Lakhs or so. The internships are usually converted into jobs, and students usually have lots of options to choose from. The lowest package offered is around 20 LPA, and the highest goes in crores with stakes in the company. Students usually start start-ups also and get funding also very easily. All thanks to the brand name ISB.

Infrastructure: World class infrastructure. A hotel chain manages the hostel, so we have housekeeping facility also. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the mess food just tastes like home food. If any facility is required, we can tell the admin, and it is made sure that it is arranged.

Faculty: The resident faculty have an experience of more than 29 years of teaching, and the visiting facility members come from the top colleges around the world. We even have guest speakers and lectures. Teachers are available even the post lectures to clear our doubts and interact. We have had long discussions with faculity about random topics under the sun.

Why getting admission into ISB is the best thing that can happen to you?

Placements: The placements happened across different months. On Day 1, close to 70 marquee companies came to the campus. On Day 2 and Day 3, around 100 companies visited the campus. There is no differentiation in terms of different campuses as the placements happen for all the batches at one place and the recruiters are not allowed to ask the name of the campus.

Infrastructure: A 4-star hotel-like experience. You would be spoiled for life. 24 -urs housekeeping at your beck and call. Free Wi-Fi that facilitates seamless movie viewing experience. The tranquillity of the city ends up masking the intensity of the course. The green fields may end up turning you into someone who loves to roll on grass.

Faculty: The first four terms are the worst. Those must easily be the most intense months of my academic life. For those who are not numerically inclined, the first term is going to knock the breath out of you, with statistics (which is taught by one of the world's best) and financial accounting to blow your mind. Reading the pre-reads is highly recommended, not only to make sense of what is happening in the class, but also to truly derive benefit from the course.

One of the best B schools in India for folks with more than 2 years of work experience.

Placements: 1. 100 percent of students are placed in the year 2022. 2. The highest and the lowest salaries have not been revealed for the current batch, the average salary offered for the batch passing in 2022 is 34.07 LPA. The highest salary for the previous batch was 72 LPA and the lowest 16 LPA. 3. Top recruiting companies at ISB are majorly consulting firms followed by companies looking to hire for product manager roles. Mckinsey and Company, Boston consulting group, Brain and the Company, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. were some of the firms offering a maximum number of roles at ISB. 4. Roughly 35 percent of the batch got placed in consulting and around 28 percent of the batch got placed in product management roles. 5. Internships are not applicable for ISB since it offers only 1 year MBA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at ISB is world-class with two state-of-the-art campuses located in Hyderabad and Mohali. There are two options for accommodations at ISB, one is a quad which is a 4bhk flat with a single occupancy room for each student along with a common kitchen and living area. The other option is a studio apartment which is preferred by married candidates. All hostel rooms are managed and cleaned daily by housekeeping staff at no extra cost. Classrooms and libraries are all based on providing a similar experience to what one should expect from a purely global B-School. 2. There is a world-class gymnasium, swimming pool, squash, lawn tennis, billiard, badminton, basketball, cricket, and football courts along with a meditation centre and health centre available inside the campus. There are multiple cafeterias, CCD outlets, and general stores as well. An MBBS physician is also made available 24-7 for any emergency medical conditions and serious cases are referred to a nearby speciality hospital. Laundry services are also available for each student hostel, there is also a salon to groom students during placement season or otherwise.

Faculty: 1. Most of the teachers are leading researchers in their field of study with PhDs from prestigious foreign universities like Harvard, Stanford, Kellog, LBS, etc. The teaching quality is on par with the best global schools in the world and the curriculum and case studies used in the class are up to date and revised on yearly basis. 2. The course curriculum is up to date and caters to training the students, enabling them to face changing industrial demands and corporate expectations with ease and adroitness.

Other: I wanted to continue building my career in management consulting and ISB being the feeder university for almost all prestigious global consulting firms, it was a no-brainer in my case to make this choice. The consistent global FT ranking of under 30 in the world and being no 1 in India also played an important part in boosting my confidence when it came to finalizing ISB as my destination for MBA. The student intake process at ISB is unique compared to other universities in India, their focus on holistic evaluation ensures that peer-to-peer learning is of the utmost quality with diverse sets of minds interacting together in and outside the classroom. Also, since the course is just for one year, it keeps me outside the workforce for only 1 year which is highly desirable for someone like me who already has almost 3 years of work experience. It is one of the best B-schools in India for folks with more than 2 years of work experience.
