Meghalaya to issue Admission forms for Class 11, other courses online; free of cost

Candidates seeking admission in Class 11, Undergraduate and PostGraduate courses must know that this year the admission form will be issued online, the Meghalaya Government announce.

The Government of Meghalaya has announced that this year the admission forms for Class 11, Undergraduate and Post-Graduate first semester courses will be issued online. The admission forms will be made available to students free of cost, the state government informed. 

“For admission into Class XI, undergraduate and post-graduate first semester courses, admission forms will be issued online only and free of cost,” said Government of Meghalaya.

Further, the state government stated that “The submission of application form should be limited to 200 per day for which the collection desks will operate at five different locations in the college, limiting the number of students submitting the application forms to a maximum of 40 per desk."

Keeping in mind the ongoing coronavirus crisis in the country, and to avoid any spread of the virus during the application form submission process, the government said that no students or parents will be allowed to enter the institution premises without a face mask, and markings at an interval of 1.5 metre should be done on the ground to ensure social distancing.

While the arrangement of hand sanitisers and hand washing should be placed at the entrance, thermal screening of all should be done and only those without symptoms should be allowed to enter, the order added. The government also directed that the mobile numbers and email Ids of all applicants should be retained by the institution authorities for conveying information, and the final list of selected students should be displayed on the institution’s website.

Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) announced the Meghalaya HSSLC Result 2020 today i.e. July 9, 2020. Students eagerly waiting for the Meghalaya 12^th Results 2020 must know that MBOSE released the Meghalaya HSSLC Result 2020 for Science, Commerce and vocational exams only. The MBOSE 12th Results 2020 for Arts Streams will be declared later. 

All the colleges, universities have been asked to follow the guidelines issued by the government strictly like issuing free online admission forms for students, limits on submission of forms per day, strict adherence to social distancing in the premises, besides other directives. It was also directed that the final list of selected students should be displayed on the Institution’s website.
