Q:   What do Codecademy Plus and Pro subscriptions cover?
A:

Codecademy has two paid plans — Plus and Pro — that provide users with extra features outside the free content. Here is what they offer:

  • Members-only content: Access to complete career paths, skill paths, and advanced courses that are not in the free plan.
  • Real-world projects: Practical projects that mimic real work environments to enable applying the learned concepts.
  • Quizzes and assessments: Options to measure knowledge and monitor progress.
  • Certificates of completion: For each course completed.
  • Community support: Extended assistance from Codecademy's learner community.
  • Professional guidance (Pro only): Sometimes, interview preparation materials and career guidance are required.

New users get a 7-day free trial for Plus or Pro. Payment details are necessary to start the trial, and charges will start automatically once it has ended unless the subscription is cancelled.

Q:   Does Codecademy offer bootcamps?
A:

Yes, Codecademy does offer bootcamps, but they are different from the usual instructor-taught coding bootcamps. Codecademy's bootcamps range from 12 -16 weeks and offer in-depth, full-time learning. They come with structured curriculum. Bootcamps are offered in domains like web development, data science, front-end and back-end programming, career readiness sessions.
Part-timers who cannot dedicate full-time, can opt for Codecademy Pro. Participants can learn the same programmed curriculum at their own convenience.

Q:   Are Codecademy courses helpful?
A:

Python 2 Certification
4.0
Other: It was really informative. Along with the information about the programming language and tests, there should also be an environment with simulation and industry oriented through which learner's can understand more practically. The course is well designed but should have more complex questions too where a lot of concepts are used. It also should be a bit faster.
